- That took about 20 more attempts to FC than I thought it would. Something about those end patterns would always get me and playing on the left felt off. Idk, still a super fun and good song though, up there as one of my favorites in this massive mod.

I like the touch that MX (or some other force) literally _stops the song timer_ to stop BF from escaping.
If you're wondering, he stops it right after GF says "HOLY FUCK!"
Fun fact he also does freeze the game after falling into a large pit in the demo of mario 85 pc port.

He isn't "stoping time" per day but he's manipulating the in-game clock to not tick up. Arguably scarier since it keeps you stuck seconds before survival.

MX is still one of the few characters to put the fear of god into bf, and it's funny considering some of the much stronger beings bf has gone up against who haven't startled him even in the slightest, lol

2:28 - 2:40 is easily the best part of the whole song. It feels so emotional but still keeps the dread of mx in general, bf still having just seen gf die in front of his own eyes, and being chased by the monster who wants to do the same thing to him if he for a second slows down. It truly captures exactly what i want to see with mx.
Arguably more memorable is how you see their black on red filled outlines instead in a reverse of ULTRA's red on black exact outlines. With how zoomed out the scene is it very much shows how physically outmatched boyfriend is, MX is *Towering* over him and is built like a runaway truck. He might as well be one since the game over screen is literally being run over.

they definitely made MX more menacing in the remake. just his sheer size change alone makes him look scarier but the fact that he rips GF in half in Powerdown now is crazy.
I think a lot of people are confused about BF's emotions in this song. If you pay attention to the cutscene beforehand and hisfacial expressions throughout the song, he's more so angry than scared.

The logical explanation is that BF and GF are trapped in a Cursed SMW cartridge, and there is no stamina in SMW, so it makes sense to run and sing for 3 minutes straight.

Honestly gf got the worst out of it this mod,taken over by me virtual,literally RIPPED IN HALF by mx,and turned into a corpse puppet by ultra M,if bf survived the final encounter worst he woulda been off with is MASSIVE trauma from watching gf die three separate times
It feels like they had a kink for GF dying. It got to the point where puppet GF wasn't much of shock because she already died like 6 times already. My reaction was basically "Oh, well that sucks if she actually is dead than maybe BF could live on for her." You did something wrong if one of the main characters dying and being turned into a puppet has the audience go "whatever." Rather than being shocked.
All of the characters in this mod belonged to M. M wanted revenge on Daddy Dearest, which he does by killing GF
she deserved it for killing scooby doo.

The devs really made mx in this mod look like it was the main character the put so much effort on him he was the only one mario that made bf feel fear

Idk, for me MX is the scariest of them all, because with Horror Mario, the Dictator and Mr. Virtual, there is a small chance to communicate after all, at least they can talk calmly with you, when MX is just a meat grinder.
The fact that MX is able to literally kill GF is something that nobody have done “yet” is something shes lucky because she probably had a extra life with a 1up mushroom but still MX is a force to be recon with he literally had BF shitting his pants
GF is literally a demon (since her parents are demons)
In Mario’s madness MX isn’t the only one to be confirmed to kill GF, the final song All-Stars permanently kills both BF and GF by removing BF’s Ability to retry after death I like to imagine that the reason BF was able to retry was because of his infinite lives which was then altered to just one life during All-Stars

My favorite part is definitely 2:08 the screaming of MX makes it SO GOOD
