Excellent showcasing of Orcust. A play I figured you would have tried out is using Predaplant Verte Anaconda with Instant Fusion. Either of Millenium-Eyes or El Shaddoll Winda, since you have Dingirsu to protect them like the old school Orcust builds.
Can't wait to play this at YCS Living Room.
I think veiler / imperm is staple in the new format to negate these strong link plays
And Mystic Mine imo, at least in side because DRNM - and yap, it would sound kinda stupid - wont be enough

@@darklaw7635 depends imo, but u should also put him at least in side.
U could give it a try in main deck but against (most) Combo Decks it will probably be blocked by Appalusa and controll based decks wont do that much summons, so the meteor could end up stucking in the air in most duells.
Mystic mine will get negated if the board is built + you wont always draw nibiru you need other cards to back it up that crusal imperm or veiler on wise falcon or Halquifibrax / union carrier can stun you opponent for a turn

If you are looking for a way to discard Orcust/ Machines you can always run machina fortress . Plus it gives a target for urgent schedule for going second
Feels like crow should be put into the side deck instead of main deck to increase overall consistency.

@@dreamybull1509 that's like playing upstart goblin in a 41 card deck. Better to cut down on potential bricks. Especially matchup dependent ones.

i personally play a very similar list but ive incorporated the 1 copy of instant fusion, making use of winda and verte anaconda. basically you have 2 powerful "locks" you can go into at any time either equiping the break sword to a dingirsu, or sending the instant fusion with anaconda and saving the winda with dingirsu.
It kinda blows my mind 1 deck has access to not 1, but 2 broken things like that
You should try out a pure Eldlich build. The Zombie World version which you showed was not the best way to play the deck. Pure is much better. Also it is the best new Archetype coming in the next pack (on the first week of the new banlist).

@@Lithium2300 There are 2 possible ideas:
1) No monster handtraps to abuse Card of Demise, Reasoning and play Mystic Mine in the Main Deck. Basically a trap overload with only 4 monsters (3 Golden Lords and 1 Glow-Up Bloom).
2) Play handtraps normally alongside your engine.
Here is a sample of the handtrap-less build I am experimenting with.

If you add handtraps, remove Reasoning, COD, Mystic Mine and the Solemn traps. You can also consider to maindeck Summon Limit / Gozen / Rivalry or Called by the Grave. What you should keep intact is the ratio of the engine cards. You can play around with the rest.
Sidenote, Golden Lord is also fantastic in Witchcrafters. In general, Golden Lord is like a much better Pankratops for any deck that has plenty of Spells/Traps that recycle or float. And the Cursed El Dorlando can search him without restriction for any deck.

I feel like Rosenix and Jet Synchron are both better options than O-Lion.
I run o-lion and jet synchron. I use jet when i have orcust in hand to get it to the GY. Rosenix doesnt really work with the orcust engine

Cause they are dumb as a hero player, if you want high iq plays and combos trough handtraps with 4 negates first turn go join the toad gang, our boy is alone just by itself :(

Please tell me golem and wyvern won't be hit by banlist because of stuff like this. I love scraps, and unless they got their own wave of support I'd hate to see them be hit for another deck's problems.

Joonzay because dumb people think ban list are there to rotate decks rather than make them more fair. Only time it’s justified to kill a deck is after it took multiple hits like striker did with having all but 1 relevant card limited.
@LynZ a whole bunch of decks dies to a single hand trap both now and in the past. A whole bunch of those decks are and were meta. "Die to a single handtrap" Does not means a deck beeing bad. however, I agree that orcust will not get this much tops during this new format. The deck is not the same without Harp.

I honestly hate how people abuse cards like the Union link to do crap like this...I get it that degenerate stuff can be super competitive...but it isn't really fun at all and what's the point of playing the game when you just get locked out of doing anything?
The thing is have useen the other buster equips they are just as bad one is an abyss dweller another is negating all face up spells and traps from opponent so even if they ban the lock to extra deck there is still lock to grave and lock to spell and traps

Scrap + Lib combo needs jet synchron. This build is trash also 11 hand traps is way too much.
