The only thing I want in One UI 7 is the Animations and Smoothness of iPhones on my Sumsang. I've been using the S22 Ultra for almost 3 years now, and the Pixel 7 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max for 2. Whilst I'd rate the S22 Ultra as the King of the Smartphones, the crazy-good Animations of iOS are far, far superior than Samsung's or Google's. They're on a different level altogether. The Dynamic Island animations are also crazy. The phone feels so silky and buttery-smooth, wth no lags, stutters or jitters. 3rd-Party Apps like RUclips, YT Music, Twitter, Threads, Reddit, Instagram etc. work far better on iPhones. Samsung needs to focus on matching that IMO. Because other Android Manufacturers like OnePlus sure are. Look at OxygenOS 15. So snappy, fast, light-weight and smooth. Animations are like a breeze.
I'm rocking the s23, not a fan of bid phones, and i will switch to the s25 only if they make the necessary software improvements, also needs more ram, 8gb is just not enough when the software is badly optimised. If not, for the first time in 14 years as an android user, I'm considering switching to the iphone, the smoothness of the damn thing is unmatched. OxygenOs 15 is aiming for the same level of smoothness as ios, but I don't understand why every manufacturer is pushing for almost 7 inch screens, not every consumer has Shaq's hands.
Overall everything I've seen from this update feels disappointing to me. It's like they are just moving things around for no real reason. Taking quick toggles out of the drop down for notifications is also annoying. No changes look super exciting yet.
