hello, so if you deactivated the plugin then all should be fine and it is just cache whooch is showing you broken things. check in private browsing, also sometimes we need to adjust options to make site fast without breaksing. Do that as I explained in video to troubleshoot and find the best options without breaking the site. Or you can watch my Litespeed/wprocket/wo super cache video to solve your issues if this plugin is too troublematic for you.

Hey Bro, i would never recommend autoptimize and asset cleaner plugin together. they both does the same work so it does not make any sense to use both to optimize js and css. However asset cleaner has more features. Watch my full video on Asset cleaner. Also if you use a plugin like Wp rocket or Litespeed cache then you do not even need autoptimize or Asset cleaner plugin. Regarding full page caching - I better advise you to use a cache plugin on your own server using any good cache plugin. This tutorial is uniquely for targetting render blocking resources and if you already did that with litespeed cache plugin then you don't need to take any action. Hello it can be the autoptimize. So the thing is it not crashed, just the css or the js are not serving properly so site might look broken. Try changing the options and open in private browsing and you will perfect balance. Also do not use autoptimize and litespeed together. i created a video where you can use both. check recent videos. best wishes :)

Hello, So as per newer standards avoid Agrregating JS and css files. It is good only when you have very few js and css files. but with wordpress and many plugins there are always many files . So do not use that option. Hope that cleared your question :)

when i apply this method.. everything works fine on desktop but it breaks my off page canvas menu on mobile.. the button doesn't.. also desktop speed is green and mobile speed is orange.. so issue is with mobile version only?
Hi, It is a common issue when dealing with the js and css optimization. Try to disable all the options and then go to source code and not all the js and css files names. Once you have those in a notepad written then enable all the aoptions and then go to excludes and add those names one by one. then you will know which script is breaking the site and keep that in excludes. Repeat the same thing with the css files. Let me know it went.

Hello, Yes rev slider is so heavey. but it comes with lazy load option and if you upload lighter images you still can have fast page. But in best case get rid of any slider on the forst load of website. it effects LCP and CLS scoress too for page speed scores.

LS cache is more featureful than Autoptimize. Autoptimize does only css, js and html optimization where LS cache is allrounder plugin and you will not need any other plugin for speed if you use LS cache.

Hello, okay I can understand the RUclips videos kills the speed or any other video embed too. For that you can use a plugin like WP RUclips Lyte and you can load only the light version. Hello, you can use both together. Just make sure you are not using same functions from both of them.If you are managing scripts from Autoptimize then keep those options disabled on litespeed cache.

hey man, So if you are not getting results from WP rocekt then you can deactivate all the js and css options from wp rocket end then only use this plugin. Ideally i would not recommend to use both the plugins at the same time unless you have advance technical knowledge. but take a backup or create a staging site and then go ahead :) let us know how it went.
not at all.. litespeed cache have all the features you get with this plugin. This can be used very well with wp supercache and wp fastest cache plugin :)

if you are not planning to aggregate CSS files using Autoptimize, then there is no need to enable the "Eliminate render-blocking CSS" option. This option is specifically designed to help eliminate render-blocking CSS that can occur when you aggregate multiple CSS files into a single file.
Thank you for this video! To be honest, I´m not very impressed of this one. Some time ago I made a test with all free and premium pagespeed plugins. The 2 worst were Autoptimize, that I consider not to be an advanced or professonal tool. The other one was WP Super Cache. Short time before Google anounced the preparational period of Core Web Vitals, WP Fastest Cache free brought very good results. It lost a bit of its good result during that period. Since the roll-out of Core Web Vitals was finished, the results got even worse. It was the same with W3 Total Cache. Then my test begun. I´ve checked the major premium plugins WP Rocket, Swift Performance, W3 Total Cache Premium and WP Fastest Cache Premium along with and without PerfMatters and Asset Cleanup Pro. Regarding inlining scripts I disagree with you. Inlining means to combine many scripts. You can be sure that in most cases this will cause problems in order to http2 and higher. The reason is that http2 deliveres much faster in parallel data streams. That means: a) In just a very few cases it doesen´t cause problems. b) If no problems are caused, it doesn´t bring any pagespeed advantage. What I´ve found out regarding Autoptimize, it only brings good results if a pagespeed optimized premium theme is used, such as GeneratePress or Astra. The best results were made by W3 Total Cache and Swift Performance, but these both are hard to configure, where Swift Performance has the most detailed options and requires (as well as W3 TC) higher technical knowledge. The plugin beeing easy to configure still is WP Rocket. It has recently achieved the same results as Swift Performance and W3 TC. Here is to say that Swift Performance absoltely works best on complex sites and page structures in order to its many options of configuration. An important influence takes the site and page conception. For this case it needs to be mentioned that most business owners can´t realize speed optimzied page layouts in order to still think in outdated terms of the turn of the millenium (especially here in Germany). Thanks again for your series of pagespeed optimization videos for they are surely helpful to many website runners.

I thinks google itself is still thinking about the best way to deliver the core web vitals and ofcourse they are webvitals only they don't ensure the best speed possible. That is why they change them time to time. like FID will be replaced with INP. So regarding your experience with WP fastest cache, WP super cache and other plugin. I think there is a market for everything. Some people with small website and blogs any plugin will work fine and for so,e advance sites the best plugins even fails :) But I belive all the plugins are important considering the simplicity and the non technies can also set up them easily. Also regarding inline css I beg to defer , check this prnt.sc/kNGzO2Lh7VMp Inline JavaScript The "Inline JavaScript" filter reduces the number of requests made by a web page by inserting the contents of small external JavaScript resources directly into the HTML document. This can reduce the time it takes to display content to the user, especially in older browsers. On W3TC and WP rocket they are nice plugins, but one is paid and another is so complicated. I really love litespeed plugin it does all the work, but also complicated to configure and can break sites sometimes. Thanks again for your contribution :)
@@LetsCreateYourWEBSITE Thank you for your preply! Lightspeed servers are very poor to get all over the german speaking countries. If they are not too expensive, they doesn´t provide the full performance. So in most cases, it´s better to use a well configured machine with an Nginx or Apache with Nginx reverse proxy. The management of domain and server in ordering the ressources is much simpler in Germany, because domain registration and webspace is done by 1 hosting provider. Hosting on american servers causes legal problems in order to European gdpa restrictions. Regarding your link about inline js: That is snow from yesterday, because it opens security breaches. This already known since 2019. Almost all data security managers in Europe recommend to prohibit inline js. I found lots of reports about this in German. The security breach is in the risk to infringe DOM what is creating the requests in an exceeding DOM size. Surely you will find something in English. If you check pagespeed with pingdom (although it should be taken offline), you´ll see that using one of the premium tools, they already reduce the number of requests. There are some tricks to reduce the requests manually, e. g. at same sized pictures not to use in a slider producing a request for each logo or image of the same sinze in a reference slider. Instead using a slider, you moubt on big image of the series and place a cout-out part of the image size that is placed by css for some seconds and then moving over the next. If before you had 6 images with 6 request, now you have 1 request for the all-in-one image and 1 for the css. The loading time of the aio image and the css is much faster now, because the communication query process on each request drops off. Because there is no js, you have a render blocking ressource less and the css is non-critical but being processed immediately. This is some secret on extra services being paid in extra charges on pagespeed optimization ;-) Have a great day 🙂
okay, since you commented on the Autoptimize video i thought you are using that. Okay, so the suggestion will be it is okay to see the scripts. Do one thing - don't merge the files just load then deferred or asyc and you will get better scores this will solve your issues and have fast website. As one large file loads heavy then the multiple small sync /deferred file. Also what is the score in page speed insight?

which plugin is better Auto Optimize or LS Cache?
LS cache is more featureful than Autoptimize. Autoptimize does only css, js and html optimization where LS cache is allrounder plugin and you will not need any other plugin for speed if you use LS cache.

Do you have any tip on how to optimize the videos though? For example, the embed youtube video background on a container using Elementor Pro? It’s killing the LCP and I keep getting an average score due to its scripts.

Hello, okay I can understand the RUclips videos kills the speed or any other video embed too. For that you can use a plugin like WP RUclips Lyte and you can load only the light version. You know what that was in my mind from many days, I will make a video about that very very soon. I will send you the link once done.

Hello, you can use both together. Just make sure you are not using same functions from both of them.If you are managing scripts from Autoptimize then keep those options disabled on litespeed cache.

hey man, So if you are not getting results from WP rocekt then you can deactivate all the js and css options from wp rocket end then only use this plugin. Ideally i would not recommend to use both the plugins at the same time unless you have advance technical knowledge. but take a backup or create a staging site and then go ahead :) let us know how it went.

not at all.. litespeed cache have all the features you get with this plugin. This can be used very well with wp supercache and wp fastest cache plugin :)

Hello Brother, thanks for your comment. So it is not very complicated , I create a video on asset cleanup plugin which can list all the js and css files and then you can jsut unload the duplicate ones. Check my channel on asset cleanup plugin. Let me know if you find it and how did it go.

if you are not planning to aggregate CSS files using Autoptimize, then there is no need to enable the "Eliminate render-blocking CSS" option. This option is specifically designed to help eliminate render-blocking CSS that can occur when you aggregate multiple CSS files into a single file.
so when you use eliminate render blockign it add loads the scripts on nonblocking manner (async/ defer tags)
Thank you for this video! To be honest, I´m not very impressed of this one. Some time ago I made a test with all free and premium pagespeed plugins. The 2 worst were Autoptimize, that I consider not to be an advanced or professonal tool. The other one was WP Super Cache. Short time before Google anounced the preparational period of Core Web Vitals, WP Fastest Cache free brought very good results. It lost a bit of its good result during that period. Since the roll-out of Core Web Vitals was finished, the results got even worse. It was the same with W3 Total Cache. Then my test begun. I´ve checked the major premium plugins WP Rocket, Swift Performance, W3 Total Cache Premium and WP Fastest Cache Premium along with and without PerfMatters and Asset Cleanup Pro.
Regarding inlining scripts I disagree with you. Inlining means to combine many scripts. You can be sure that in most cases this will cause problems in order to http2 and higher. The reason is that http2 deliveres much faster in parallel data streams. That means: a) In just a very few cases it doesen´t cause problems. b) If no problems are caused, it doesn´t bring any pagespeed advantage.
What I´ve found out regarding Autoptimize, it only brings good results if a pagespeed optimized premium theme is used, such as GeneratePress or Astra. The best results were made by W3 Total Cache and Swift Performance, but these both are hard to configure, where Swift Performance has the most detailed options and requires (as well as W3 TC) higher technical knowledge. The plugin beeing easy to configure still is WP Rocket. It has recently achieved the same results as Swift Performance and W3 TC. Here is to say that Swift Performance absoltely works best on complex sites and page structures in order to its many options of configuration. An important influence takes the site and page conception. For this case it needs to be mentioned that most business owners can´t realize speed optimzied page layouts in order to still think in outdated terms of the turn of the millenium (especially here in Germany).
Thanks again for your series of pagespeed optimization videos for they are surely helpful to many website runners.
You are most welcome my friend and thanks you for providing the detailed experience you had with several plugins. I thinks google itself is still thinking about the best way to deliver the core web vitals and ofcourse they are webvitals only they don't ensure the best speed possible. That is why they change them time to time. like FID will be replaced with INP.
So regarding your experience with WP fastest cache, WP super cache and other plugin. I think there is a market for everything. Some people with small website and blogs any plugin will work fine and for so,e advance sites the best plugins even fails :) But I belive all the plugins are important considering the simplicity and the non technies can also set up them easily.

On W3TC and WP rocket they are nice plugins, but one is paid and another is so complicated. I really love litespeed plugin it does all the work, but also complicated to configure and can break sites sometimes.

@@LetsCreateYourWEBSITE Thank you for your preply! Lightspeed servers are very poor to get all over the german speaking countries. If they are not too expensive, they doesn´t provide the full performance. So in most cases, it´s better to use a well configured machine with an Nginx or Apache with Nginx reverse proxy. The management of domain and server in ordering the ressources is much simpler in Germany, because domain registration and webspace is done by 1 hosting provider. Hosting on american servers causes legal problems in order to European gdpa restrictions.
Regarding your link about inline js: That is snow from yesterday, because it opens security breaches. This already known since 2019. Almost all data security managers in Europe recommend to prohibit inline js. I found lots of reports about this in German. The security breach is in the risk to infringe DOM what is creating the requests in an exceeding DOM size. Surely you will find something in English. If you check pagespeed with pingdom (although it should be taken offline), you´ll see that using one of the premium tools, they already reduce the number of requests. There are some tricks to reduce the requests manually, e. g. at same sized pictures not to use in a slider producing a request for each logo or image of the same sinze in a reference slider. Instead using a slider, you moubt on big image of the series and place a cout-out part of the image size that is placed by css for some seconds and then moving over the next. If before you had 6 images with 6 request, now you have 1 request for the all-in-one image and 1 for the css. The loading time of the aio image and the css is much faster now, because the communication query process on each request drops off. Because there is no js, you have a render blocking ressource less and the css is non-critical but being processed immediately. This is some secret on extra services being paid in extra charges on pagespeed optimization ;-)

okay, since you commented on the Autoptimize video i thought you are using that. Okay, so the suggestion will be it is okay to see the scripts. Do one thing - don't merge the files just load then deferred or asyc and you will get better scores this will solve your issues and have fast website. As one large file loads heavy then the multiple small sync /deferred file. Also what is the score in page speed insight?
