(UPDATE) LIONEL'S 2024 VOLUME 2 CATALOG OVERVIEW; PRE-ORDERS AND PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS

It's that time of year yet again!! It was back in mid August - Late September when i'd received this
Lionel Trains 2024 Volume II Catalog in the mail from my hobby dealer that I frequent. At first glance, it appeared the cover artwork had extremly caught my attention (just like the previous one with the polar express Boilerhead artwork detail up front.) It was a less smaller catalog but when I arrived at the standard "O" rolling stock I began to consider a few choices for my layout. My First option were the Heavy-Duty Flatcars (TRAILER-TRAIN AND WESTINGHOUSE Variants) to add to my fleet. I'm still unsure on exactly what kind of load was loaded to these cars but it eventually came down to the Amer. Car And Fonudry (ACF) Hoppers, The 3-Bay Hoppers with “peaked” edges or the WESTINGHOUSE(SKU: 2526220) OR TRAILER-TRAIN Variant(SKU: 2526210) Heavy Duty Flatcars , I fortunately went along with the Westinghouse flat car due to its unique colors and flare. It wasn't much long, but a short handful of weeks...(possibly some time after the catalog came out in print) until I managed to come to afford to pre order said freight car from my hobby dealer of choice and eagerly await its arrival at my doorstep
I totally encourage you guys who are True believers in the polar express to go down to your local LIONEL dealer and check out both the previous and this latest issue
