Both sets sound incredible. Micky is an amazing player too! Would love to see Micky do a review of the Apache strat pickups. I absolutely love them in my American Pro Strat! :)
@@BKPickups listening to the pickups under more gain when he's doing the rocky shreddy stuff am I right in thinking the Mother's Milks have slightly more upper mids? Would cut through slightly better in a band mix live?
@@guitarstrange2478 Thank you for your comment. Yes, they are a lower output with alnico 5 poles which makes them a little brighter and helps highlight the highs and mids a little more.
Those mother's milk sound incredible. I love my Silo's, but they're in an S body (Chapman ML-1 PRO) and it makes em sound too thin due to the carved body, too thin but great pups.
Hi i live in the states and im wanting to swap my custom shop 69s for something closer to John Mayer tonality. What would you suggest? I could go for Suhr V63s but everyone has those in the US. I want to be different. Thanks
I preferred the mothers milk set for cleaner tones and the veneer set when driven. I really don't like it when mickey dives into the piddly piddly stuff, he has a great vibrato and both pickup sets showed how controlled and musical it is.
I recently took delivery of a Hiwatt SA-20. Very happy to say Mothers Milk sound incredible through it
WE need them both

Thank you. I'm sure you will be seeing Micky on our channel more in the near future.
