Dude is a savant pure and simple. I have always hesitated to rank guitarist as so many of the sidewalk commandos and the like have done over the years, but I have yet to hear or see in my 60 yrs (45 yrs playing guitar) in this dimensional plane a musician, composer, master of both electric and acoustic guitar not to mention his bass playing, put it all together like Bucket has. To those that only think of him as a shredder I feel sorry for you that you have missed some of the most heart felt guitar oriented instrumental compositions I have ever heard. Not to mention that BH has not taken the road most traveled in releasing his music. No this man has the true spirit of music in his soul. I for one hope to be around as long as Buckethead wants and needs to get this music out of his body and mind to share with his fans and future fans.

Agreed. Barren ends any claims from other guitarists that they are better, no offence to them.
Buckethead IS music and music is Buckethead. It is all he does, and, like you I'm just thankful.
Barren is my favourite Buckethead song, I have listened to it so many times whilst working. Masterpiece of rock and intricate guitar playing. Guy is a straight genius and that's the end of it.

Por demonstrar graça em tudo que faz, está simplesmente acima de todos os outros, com a força e a nobreza de seu talento único. Este PIKE é impressionante!!! Vigoroso, pesado, apesar de contrastar com PRAYING, música de acordes celestiais. Mas o show fica por conta de BARREN PARTE 1 e 2, um trabalho magistral. Parabéns mais uma vez , Buckethead!!!!!

Because of people saying buckethead has no feel or emotion. Oh’ but slash is best guitarist in the world. Both Slash and Kirk Hammett are the best guitarist in world. Bucketheads comment section from 2008. I had hate comments nonstop, RUclips video called ‘Slash vs buckethead’. Even worse then hate comments, was someone trying to explain to me why Slash is better guitarist than buckethead??! Incredible. People are incredibly stupid. I don't know how many times I've read the phrase: "Buckethead is a very good guitarist, but he needs a band." And I say "NOTHING FARDER FROM THE REALITY" Precisely, not wanting to belong to a fixed band has allowed him to be the humble, original and charismatic artist that he is today. Furthermore, this MIRACLE GUITARIST has shown that HE CAN PLAY ALL EXISTING ROCK AND METAL STYLES, PLUS EVERYTHING HE CAN INVENT AND THAT IS YET TO BE INVENTED. AWESOME.
Buckethead plays better ‘live shows’ with bass player and drummer. Instead of buckethead himself with drum machine. Not saying a drum machine is bad.

In fact, their golden era is the legendary live performance of the song Scraps, the legendary live performance of Whitewah, and the concert in Wetlands, NY on April 30, 1997, with Pinchface on drums, dl Disk on turntables, and the little girl I don't know if It was Laswell. Those 3 live performances with the band are, in my opinion, THE CROWN JEWELS.
