I have also been enjoying recording these so I will be sure to keep them once a week at a minimum on the channel! Super glad to hear youre enjoying the more casual videos because they tend to be a lot more fun to record haha.
If you're worried about people not seeing you for your intro due to the invisibility, just take the scarf off for your intro, then put it back on after... The rest of the video is in first person, so it doesn't matter beyond that point. Keep up the good work.
Loving the look of the Base. you have inspired me to start my own game. Cheers! cant wait for the next ep! and you cant let Lash get away with only making 1 reactor to your 100+ PRC's!!
Honestly, I love Refined Storage because its so simple and useful. Obviously AE2 is more powerful, but can be a weeee bit more annoying to get to that point. Good luck with your RS network!
I love the Refined Storage system. If your playing a mod pack with "Storage Drawers" look into using that with Refined Storage. You can create a wall of Drawers connected to a drawer controller, then connect it to RS with an external storage connection. This allows you to have all the items stored in the Drawers but show up in RS without taking up space. Good luck with you RS network!
Me just finished. That wall is going to look amazing. For some reason I think the PRC is the nicest looking block in mekanism. The base looks so nice too. At least for me. I really love the combination of green and spruce 💜 Also as a person who uses xnet a lot, I’m glad you did this! I didn’t know you can name the channel lol that saves a lot of headache 😂😂😂

There have probably been a lot of these comments, but when I was doing this set up in my world I found when you make the first instance for a collum of xnet you can copy that and then hit paste instead of create on the rest, making it a slightly quicker process than manually doing each input
you can upgrade the crafters to have more capacity (pattern vise) and they work faster as well. you can press R on the resepies in the patern enscriber thing to paste them in, it also auto switches to processing if it isnt basic crafting. i would also recomend putting the drills in the nether, as they should be able to gater all normal ores and on top such as glowstone and ancient debris. though, as you know, you should specify them so that each works more effective on a specifc ore type. use the single item drawers and emerald upgrades as long as you dont have the endgame black hole units for ore storage. emerals are easy thanks to the villagers. Enderpearls as well, priests sell them cheap. other then that, i think i should end my ted talk for now. p.s. Pneumaticraft has the second best armor in the pack. it can be enchanted. there is proct 10.
If you want to pull a recipe from JEI into a pattern, you have to first hit the recipe button (R key) to show the recipe in JEI, and click the [+] button to insert all the items into the pattern grid automatically
Hmmmm for some reason it wasnt working during the video as I tried that, but it does seem to be now so thankfully it will save me some time :) according to others there are a few bugs in the pack where it doesnt always work so maybe I was unlucky enough to run into one of those during the video.
Little trick for patterns in refined storage, press the "A" key to have it on the left side of the screen, and then you can right click to see the recipe. is an extra step, not sure why.
1. Put a pattern to make patterns in the crafter 2. Make a crafting upgrade 3. Connect an exporter to the pattern grid . 4. Put the upgrade in the exporter 5. Configure the exporter to export patterns
Thanks for another great video. Put the substrait into a drawer with a void upgrade. This will allow you to keep a good amount and ditch the rest. Since you will need it at one point.
7:30 one of the very first things you should do is upgrade your refined storage crafters to iron and then gold. they'll be much much faster and they'll hold so many more patterns. i think each upgrade gives you two additional rows, and with gold, a full stack of a 1 step craft is nearly instant.
Id like to see your resource gathering and building, etc. The progress that u make off camera, basically, could be in a timelapse or some sort of. Dont know how u and others feel about it, but it really makes the series more immersive for me. ;)
I will try to include at least some of that in each episode since I know some people do like that! Sadly, there wont be too much of that after the next few episodes since I plan on automating ore generation next episode and all mob farming the episode after ideally, but when its there ill try to show a small timelapse of it :)
Trust me, I’d love to do it on camera too. It would make videos way easier to make and series could last 200 episodes. Sadly 95% of people don’t want that and just get bored so it just screws over video performance in the end :/
I wish the RUclipsrs you've mentioned, including you of course, would start and Enigmatica SMP. Would be great to see you all doing amazing stuff in one world in many perspective.
@@bean-4428 Oh, I see. Other than Chosen, I haven't really watched the other ones. But if they could coordinate a little like how the Hermits do the economy, a bit of role play, I think they can manage. Maybe the first few SMPs will be challenging but eventually they will adapt to each other's pacing and style. But we wouldn't know until they try.
I think it would look better if you used the upside down stairs for the PRC wall at the top. You have a "gap" on the left and right, and should have one at the top as well. Also, thank you so much for the XNet primer. I've been curious about it for a long time, just never touched it. Now I may need to look into it.
@RagePlaysGames Xnet also puts less stress on the server (or pc, if single player) than mekanism logistic transporters, fluid pipes, gas tubes... And you have not even gotten to the fun part of Xnet yet combining more nets into a giant network using the routers.
If you want to save up on advanced cables, you could probably put the Entangloporter somewhere close the generators instead of above the controller. That way you don't need to upgrade every single cable on the way to it and still get the higher transfer. And it shouldn't matter for melon transfer (not sure how xnet works in terms of power usage so maybe it'd use more, but that doesn't really matter with this setup). Definitely loving this setup though! Perfect application of xnet to compact an otherwise bulky build.
Mekanism cables don't actually work that way, all the cables capacity added together is the max transfer rate, having a single un-upgraded pipe won't bottleneck it. The cables don't even have to go anywhere, you can just put some down anywhere as long as its connected!
@@ChiefArug that's interesting and I didn't know that, but I meant xnet cables. He mentions at some point having to craft a lot of upgrades using ender pearls, this would save him from it since it doesn't matter where it connects to the xnet network in terms of most functionality (besides power transfer)
Hurm... Why did you not just let the Entengloporter put the Melons directly into the Crusher? This would have saved one Chanel... And i think you also should save some of the Substrate. Put a Drawer with an Void-Upgrade at the Position of the Trashcan and you are good to go.
It is because he has to set a channel anyway to extract power for all the machines and input power back to the system, this way he's saving 1 entenglopoter instead of a channel
I honestly had no idea this was a function! I think I even said in the video id love it if it was haha so i definitely plan on using this a LOT as I tack more onto this setup.
Is it worth going through all the trouble to make ethylene rather than just using the biomass directly in a bunch of biogenerators? The quests in Enigmatica 6 say that the mod pack nerfs ethylene anyway.

Also make sure your setup is completely at equilibrium before judging it. Until both the bio fuel and hydrogen are filled up in the PRC, your crusher and especially electrolytic separator will be sucking massive power to process that.
