Love the addition of the planks upstairs! Railing looks amazing up there as well. Great addition with the gate too. Safety first! Pulley system for the win...it's amazing how much space a ladder/ stairs take up. Such a beautiful place made with care and love. Cheers from Ontario ✨
A helpful hint. If you preheat your stovepipe you won't get smoke belching out the front of your stove. I use alcohol in a small container to heat up the pipe. Works great no smoke.
Beautiful cabin. I have a timber frame cabin in British Columbia. It is 26’ x 24’. I recently got a railing installed in the loft. So nice! Your railings loook amazing!
I know i already commented , but im still watching , just saw the ladder raising , that will be a huge improvement for usable space on the main floor great idea.
Just watched your tour video. Hey, we have the same wood stove! Haha Mines gone in my shed though and we now have a Blaze King. I was skeptical of the catalyst but I’m really saving on wood. Love being able to adjust the heat. Nice cabin! Subscribed and maybe I can get some ideas off of you 😄

Just beautiful, I love it!
The plank half-wall was such a perfect design and so beautiful! Great craftsmanship all around and great videography, as always. Thank you!
Thanks so much, David! Good to hear from you
@PenniacWilderness you're welcome! 🙂
It really is coming together...it looks so cozy and inviting. Great job!
Thank you! This makes the upstairs a bit better for sure
Great upgrade there eh! Thanks for sharing this time of year here in Atlantic Canada. It is my favorite time of year.
Thank you! A bit wet the past few days, but otherwise been great
I like the routed edges , nice finish 👌 Hope all is well in beautiful NB.

I just discovered this Channel. Love it! - Cheers from NB.
Thanks for watching! What part of NB?
@ Fredericton. We have a cottage in GrandBay Westfield… also have a hunting cabin with land in St Martin’s/Sussex area.

I want to rig it up so it's easy to flip up, and also held securely when it's up. Got any ideas?
Que lugar lindo!e que casa maravilhosa!❤❤
Beautiful home
Hiya thanks from Alison from Penicuik, Scotland.
Awesome vlog 👌👌
Thank you my friend, hope you are doing well
👍great video
Nice detail of the spacer block between the loft posts and the slabs
Ha the soup cans?
Time stamp 7:12-15.. gives the slabs a setback.. just a real nice touch.. most would probably just attached the slab directly to the posts
Timestamp at 8:00 really shows the spacers once the ends are trimmed.. eye for details sets you apart
Thanks! I thought you were joking about how I used soup cans to keep the lower slab off the floor. I appreciate your comment!
@PenniacWilderness lol.. hard to tell these days brother..
Just watched your tour video.

Nice! It's been a good stove, but yours sounds like quite an upgrade. Thanks for subscribing. Where are you watching from?
Place the rope halfway up the ladder be a straighter pull. Easier.
I’m confused. I thought you were building a new cabin that was more conveniently located? I personally really like your cabin.
Hi Mike, I'm slowly working on a new place but also still this cabin is mine and I plan to improve it over time as well.
