❤ Dear Karen, so happy you decided to color and do what inspired you in the moment. Keep up the extraordinary work you do. You're a pleasure to watch in any one of your artwork! ❤
Thank you so much Elle!! Your comment was the first thing I saw this morning. Thank you for starting it out so beautifully!!❤️❤️❤️
@@ArtbyKarenValentine Have a beautiful day ahead Karen. So glad I could make your morning a happy one 💗
Beautiful picture, look forward to many more wonderful tutorials on this combination of media.
Whatever you touch looks amazing!
That’s so kind of you!! Thank you!!❤️❤️❤️
Agreed! Karen is very talented!
@@TrishDarbonne Thank you Trish!!❤️❤️❤️
i love how you drew it with enough detail to be interesting but not so much i feel overwhelmed. Thank you also doing videos still. You have much wisdom and talent to share with us. Keep on keeping on.
Thank you very much Sherry! I’m so glad you like it!!❤️❤️❤️
❤ beautiful, I like your arts.
Thank you so much Tereza!!❤️🙏🏻❤️
I will turn 60 next year as well, so I feel you on doing what you enjoy while you can. It’s natural to enjoy one medium for a period, followed by a different medium, and to eventually return in a cyclical way. Froyle Art on YT does amazing gelli printing videos and she is such a joyful person that she’s worth checking out if only for her passion for art. As for cherry blossoms, they SHOULD be everywhere, right? I love those delicate flowers so much. ❤
I’ve seen her videos Trish! I agree, she is such a joy to watch! I ❤️❤️❤️ I decided to try and make the best possible version of myself as I turn 60. That includes body, mind and soul.
This is beautiful, I totally understand about wanting to do all the things but feel like not enough time. I've felt that way for so many years and I've only been coloring and creating for 5 years, just enjoy something everyday.
Thank you very much Maylynn! I think a lot of us can relate! I will continue to learn and grow and find creative time every day!❤️❤️❤️
Very pretty so far, Karen…and…some cherry blossoms are “brighter/darker”. 😉☺️
Thank you very much Fern! I think I kept referring to it as a cherry blossom, but it’s actually an apple blossom. 🤪(Although they do look quite similar) ❤️❤️❤️
@@ArtbyKarenValentine You’re welcome, Karen! I think most apple blossoms do tend to be lighter in color. Although….take crab apple blossoms and that another story. Those are DEFINITELY much brighter and “darker” in color. So, maybe your blossoms are crab apple blossoms?!?! 😉☺️
Hi Karen, this is so incredibly beautiful! I could watch you draw and color flowers all day, long . You definitely must do what makes you happy, in anything you do. Before I forget, where can I get your color chart for your favorite brands, I hope you sell them. Karen, you’re a naturally born artist so it’s good that you’re not committing yourself to one medium. How odd you would mention Gelli plate, I’ve been watching Susan Clifton, but I don’t know if she is your fit, design wise. Thank you for sharing another one of your amazing creations!
Thank you so much Keni!! 🩷🩷🩷 The scans of my original chart colored in is available for a donation on kofi. The link is in the about me tab. However it’s definitely not perfect. I’ve been working on blank charts with all the brands and those will be in Etsy shop soon. (Hopefully by the end of next month)
@@ArtbyKarenValentine You’re so welcome Karen!!❤️❤️❤️ Oh yay! I will wait for the blank charts!
Hey Karen, I understand the advancing of age. It took me by surprise. I'm in my seventies, and don't know how that happen especially when the body doesn't feel that age. I just discover the coloring community and the beauty of this art. I just found your site and your coloring is beautiful. It makes me want to do what you are doing. How, when and where do you know what colors to do and where to place them. Love it. You are great at it.
Hi Evelyn! Thank you so much! Coloring has brought me many joyful hours and I’m happy you found this great art form! As far as choosing colors, reference photos help a lot. And I would be lost without my swatch charts. I have a video here on the channel all about how I use them. I’ll see if I can find it for you. ❤️❤️❤️
I found it! I hope this helps.
