Everybody is a critic. People she is a phenomenal talent . Just listen without prejudices. Damn . Opera fans stop critiquing everything. I sometimes think opera fans hate opera singers. Really. Sing Lise! Sing for the Gods
as you have your opinion, others think differently .. to dislike is as valid as to admire. she is a great singer , but that's not her repertoire, and it was not as someone would expect Puccini's aria
Finally a full voice for Puccini. What a gorgeous instrument. Love the haters in the comments who all probably sound like seas cats and think Tosca should be sung by a light mezzo lmao gtfo
He escuchado en vivo a Davidsen y a mi me parece fabulosa. No me hagas caso.
Gracias ❤
As a voice teacher, I can see that she has a gorgeous instrument, but somewhere along the line had very bad instruction. She is pulling the voice back into her throat to artificially make the sound larger and that will cost her eventually. Also, her Italian diction is mushy and incomprehensible. It's sad to me that the old techniques have been lost and that so many of today's voices are not reaching their full potential because of it.
Yes she was being too pushy for most of the aria and the voice cracked a little around the end. The technique was not controlled enough and there was no progression of the melody, it felt all forte with only small alterations at the end. Staying within the voice's centre is more pleasing to the ears, the strain made it hard to listen to.
Amazing voice !!!! Negative comments are only expressed by envious persons who are no able to sing …keep it up my darling…you are highly talented and the opposition you are having shows this …you are making others jealous !! 👌👏🏻 Colomba Mia My Dove ❣️🕊
@@colombamia7293 I can share vocals, you will see I can hold my own against any professional opera singer. I just have singers that I find much stronger like Saoia Hernandez, Ana Beatriz Machado and Sondra Radvanosky. They are singers that I can admire.
Ah I see the issue. Excellent and powerful top, quite secure lower end and very capable of clear vowels and a conversational tone, and…an overdeveloped middle. Every singer struggles with this to some extent. I would argue that the only great angers are those who master this. All others who fade into obscurity or have people challenge their greatness are those who push too much in the middle until, later in their careers, it catches up to them, resulting in thin high bits with a wobble. In women, the low end becomes hooty and unsupported and in tenors especially, it becomes pushed, baritone-ish, or non-existent. Substituting passion for technique is not sustainable. A passionate singer can not have a long career if they solely rely on their passion, whilst a technician can always sing clearly while the truth of their emotive nuance bleeds into their voice, unencumbered, as a BYPRODUCT of their technique. I’m hoping in the next two years or so to truly secure this middle team he as well and wish this woman well. If she focuses on singing with more clarity, I have no doubt she could leave a legacy in the ranks of an Eva Turner, or a Renata Tebaldi, or even a less piercing and ferocious Birgit Nilsson. I want it! I love hearing new voices of people in opera who sound like they know what they’re doing!!!! Best wishes to her
Heartfelt...powerful....superb, Lise

Wow! Wow, Wow!! de las mejores interpretaciones que he escuchado. Magnífica voz!!!!
Magnificiant as always!!
You’re an inspiration to a young singer in little Orlando, FL. Thank you for your passion and love for your craft. It’s shows. Brava.
Little Orlando?
No way!

What a wonderful interpretation! What a treat, thank you!
You are so incredible and I am so inspired by you! ❤
What a beautiful voice👏👏👏
Thank you Lise😊😊😊
Saw you at the Last Night Of The Proms last year.
blew

mind
how the hell did I get to 58 without Opera in my life? Bloody amazing!
WOW. Like a blend of Eileen Farrell and Birgit Nilsson!
Muy abiertas sus vocales, pero la voz es fabulosa.
A big voice, but not for Tosca. She is not even 40 years old. I truly hope she will not be just another example of “too much too soon”.
Mario Lanza class !! Best there is !!

Her vowels are placed slightly in the back, but she has a great technique and voice.

As a former singer student I agree. Cantare sul fiato ma non con fiato is a key and she didn't teach it.
Yes, the instrument is quite uneven, beautiful voice but it should sound effortless rather than like it’s hard work. I hope she sorts it out.
Voice teachers can' t sing. And they teach what they can't. Haha.
Italian is not German. To sing this aria one needs a lot more experience. And one needs not to shout, but to sing

Totally right! And Tosca needs real passion, not only one note after the next.............

@@colombamia7293she can have an amazing voice but still employ it poorly, as she does here
Puccini is not Wagner...
Sie hat eine nordische dramatische Stimme.
Und sie singt Puccini auch ausgezeichnet.
Diese Stimmen gibt es ganz ganz selten.
She is extraordinary both in Wagner and Puccini.
Would love to hear the natural color of her voice. This trend of darkening the sound creates a premature wobble and destroys voices.
Listen to Nilsson singing the same aria.
Puccini needs passion and flexubility............
She is not for Puccini. Period
Can’t understand what language she’s singing in, should be Italian as original language!
This voice is not recordable by no mic.
A lot of potential. But this is far from the art of Maria Callas ❤
@janemileliassen5381 Oh Please... Maria Callas stopped singing 50 years ago. Move on!
@@craigwalters Maria Callas never stop singing. Never. 😍
