Just want to say I was the one who got her to read the book and I love the honesty behind her words. Literally I love you girl and I can't wait for you to read the second book! (I also expect a book review for book two:)
An excellent starting point would be "The Shining" or "The Institute" !! I also love "The Stand" but that is more daunting considering it's 1000+ pages. Also if you have a favorite movie based off Stephen king (It, The Green Mile, Shawshank, Pet Semetary, etc.) I think it would be a wonderful idea to start with that :) because then you know a little bit about what you are getting into! I hope that helps! When it comes to SK it is best to start with a novel you are very interested in and you think you'll enjoy, you know yourself best!

stephen king is also my fav author all the time but I woudnt say that a lot of his characters are similar to each other. yk it really schocked me what you said haha🤨
Soooo many of his male characters are reminiscent of each other. Of course you have characters that stick out (Jack Torrence, Ben Hanscom, Randell Flagg, of course Leeland Gaunt to name a few) but a lot of his main male characters seem to me to share a lot of characteristics and ways of thinking/living (Edgar Freemantle, Stu Redman, Alan Pangborn, Ralph Anderson). What I mean by that is I feel like if they were plucked out of their own books and placed into each other's situations, they all would act very similarly to each other. That might just be me though 🤷🏼♀️
@@mirandas_universe hmm maybe you're right. But despite that I think that Stephen King can write characters like no one can! Btw please read the Dark Tower series you're gonna love it! I'm actually reading the 4th book and it's amazing and the connection are just sick!!! 🤯 Absolutely masterpiece
@@dominikchromicz1264 oh yes I totally agree! Despite some of their similarities I think King writes INCREDIBLE characters! 🤩 And I've been wanting to read the dark tower for so so long😭 I'm reading lord of the rings right now and I'm planning on picking the gunslinger up after I'm finished! :) glad to know you're enjoying it so much!!
