Suddenly, One Day is actually useful for something! Just one thing, though- it changes the sin resistances you start the battle with, so it can be useful for soloing boss fights
True, I have actually seen it used for that (against Brazen Bull!) If this was a video on Suddenly, One Day I probably would have mentioned that as a possible use case
There is also another upside: Clashing. While it doesn’t give paralyze like Legerdemain, it does have one of the highest base ego rolls, only matched by Ryoshu’s Ego at Uptie 4. If you don’t have enough shards to Uptie base Egos, this is the highest ego roll you’re getting at Uptie 3 for a cheap sin cost. The passive can actually be very helpful, too. Remember, it gives SP loss efficiency to both an Ally AND an Enemy, meaning that for Bosses with Sp who lose Sp if they lose a clash, this can debilitate them instead of you, especially with the new chain battle mechanic.

As Limbus' #1 Liu Stan I am here to clarify: EVEN ON a full Burn team with literally no Gluttony sources? You STILL bring Legerdemain. Three reasons: First, in Mirror Dungeon you have access to EGO Gifts and 6th / 7th members to fill that gap. Second, in any other hard content you have 12 Sinners to swap between and carry resources between fights. Third, biggest of all... Suddenly One Day is just THAT BAD even after the big Default EGO Upgrade sweep they did. It's no longer actively detrimental but it's still barely even worth having, and Leg has reliably as-good or better Sin resistances.
I personally don't use Burn team so this is helpful, thanks for commenting. In the video I was thinking about content where you don't carry over EGO resources or have access to EGO Gifts or have more than 5 team members, but considering that's basically only generic story stages and luxcavations at this point I probably should have mentioned all of that

Considering that most of the hard content in the game seems to be shifting towards having 7 sinners active I think Legerdemain absolutely eclipses Suddenly, One Day even in a burn team as long as you have either EGO gifts or 7 sinners. So in my mind the only time you would use Suddenly, One Day is if you're running a burn team and you're going through luxcavations or generic story stages that only allow you to bring 5 members
@@sivavis9137 The 7-Sinner Burn team I'm currently using for MD2H has absolutely zero Gluttony on it, so I still run Suddenly LOL. Having its resource cost be something that Burn teams produce constantly means it's very easy to spam for the sake of winning clashes.

I was planning to use him, and this video encouraged me even more to do so, but I just have no idea what to do Because my team I have now is: L Corp Faust, Tingtang Hong Lu, R Corp Heatcliff, N Corp Sinclair, G Corp Outis, Seven Ryoshu and Shi Don Maybe replace Hong Lu And later give K Corp Hong Lu as support for healing I didn't have much of an idea And overall great video, immediately subscribed!
Thanks for the sub! Zwei Gregor is a pretty self-sufficient unit imo. The Slash Fragility from 7 Ryoshu is nice because he deals all slash damage, and obviously he has some synergy with Zwei Faust, but outside of that I think you can kinda just throw him in most teams and he'll do fine. He does like to have an additional skill slot or two because it allows him to stack up Defense Levels even more + allows him to purposefully lose a clash with s1 to get a bunch of shield and still do something, but most IDs in general like having an extra slot so it's definitely not mandatory. I think your current team is very solid & all of the IDs on it are pretty good at clashing so I'd say it's probably up to your personal preference. If you don't want to cut a 2* because you don't want to be forced to spend the extra 100 cost to get a 3* then I'd say you would probably replace Tingtang like you were thinking. I don't have any comments for which 2* you would replace, if any, just that if you do have Fluid Sac definitely don't replace Faust.
I mean, spending on 000 is not a problem for me, I just have no idea who to replace it with But I think I will just replace Hong Lu And in general Uptie IV for Zwei Gregor is a must have? Because as I looked it doesn't change much (aside from that "5*" in the first skill which is a lot) and got me thinking - because I don't have much to spend either But I think it is Hong Lu that I will replace, Gregor can always be beaten more by his defense level
@@kalusiak742 I don't think Zwei Gregor is a must for Uptie IV. He has a good Uptie IV for reasons that you mentioned, but Zwei Gregor is a more than fine unit at Uptie III. If you play around with him and find that you find him fun and want him to be stronger, Uptie IV will be a worthwhile investment, but of you don't want to spend the resources on Uptie IV, I don't think you have to. That being said, I uptied him to IV immediately so I don't have much experience with Uptie III Zwei Gregor.
I think Ismael roseati desire is better tho. It's 10 offense level down and 3 paralysis. And she has two god tier ids that do dmg. Guess I just found the reason why this strategy is useful. Ismael is too busy killing stuff to debuff
The added offense level down + bind is really nice on Roseate Desire. I personally haven't used it that much so I can't comment on how effective it is compared to Legerdemain, but Ishmael Roseate Desire does seem pretty good. I think I'll try and play around with it
Now we are in the future Rose Greg has Gluttony but you dont use him for Legerdemain, you use him for AEDD which is a really good EGO for different reason lmao Pirate Greg is soo strong as a Poise/Bleed its kinda justified he doesnt have Gluttony Skill And now Kurokumo Greg also doesnt have Gluttony because its way too bleed focused thanks to being a Kurokumo, also raising Bleed Count in a Kurokumo Team would make Kuro Hong Lu cry lmao As for Suddenly One Day.... weirdly enough thanks to Bloody Mist Fusion gift makes it, Don's Base EGO, and What Is Cast actually clash high and deal high damage (As if both Suddenly One Day and What Is Cast wasnt high clasher to begin with) Legerdemain still better tho

Uptie 4 Section 7 Outis has +2 rupture count on her skill 2. It's not crazy, but pretty neat if you already like using that ID

they're similar, but i think the main benefit of leger is that it's a zayin 3 ego resource total attack. it's dirt cheap and effective as hell.
