The O line is the most important part of a football team. If you don't get that right, you don't ever win. Nothing else matters. Nothing.
There's no team that invest more into the O-line than Giants. It's crazy we still have a bottom 3 O-line. Hopefully this new O-line coach can finally get this O-line to be at least average.

Agreed! Unfortunately this team has been worse than horrible on the oline for years and years. It’s by far been the worst I’ve EVER seen and in no way is that hyperbole.
Cincinnati has the 26th ranked OL. They don't seem to care about fixing that issue. The giants appear to be following this same model.
They upgraded at OLine coach, couple better players too. They'll def be improved over last year, problem is theyve been absolutely horrible so any improvement is still like polishing a turd.

If DJ has over 2 seconds to drop back, he does well enough to get a playoff win. It's all about that OL. If they hold off the rush, Jones will get it to the weapons, which they loaded up on.
No he doesn't lol. He holds the ball so long and steps into pressure. He's the worst qb on the giants. The team quits every year. The linemen that leave play awesome for the next team. No rb to help now so even more blitzing and Jones can't beat you deep.
Last season was a wash from the start….This is a young team… We added in free agency. Must stay away from major injuries….

Yes. Only “if” everything goes perfect. Only “if”. If the opponent loses their top cornerbacks and defensive line backups are playing and defensive coaching staff sleeps in or “if” this weeks defensive squad went and participated in an all night party with drinking and smoking the night before. Why can’t DJ overcome some obstacles. Not every quarterback has an elite line play on every game. Really?

so many days after the draft and im still hyped we got Nabers like the draft just happened an hour ago. Dude is so fucking good. There were rumors Viking were trying to trade J.Jefferson to the giants for the 6th pick to draft nabers. Probably mostly because of how much they had to pay him but also just tell you how people view Nabers to be. TE: Johnson i think will be a draft steal.
They need; to pay: Darius Slayton, DJ and him, have been on the same page, since day 1 and he's a good #2 receiver, (4yrs-$30mil)

I am a Giants fan so but impartial, the last 10 years we have not been able to put everything together. Daniel Jones rookie year wasn't bad but defense was terrible. Then a year like last year , defense wasn't bad but offense was horrible. If we can put it together with DJ being closer to 2022 and rookie year. O line be respectable. Defense can be 2022, we can get 10 wins

This his last chance..frankly I think he broken, because poor oline poor coaching poor offensive concepts (Garrett) and a lack of aggressiveness slow eyes now throw in a ACL surgery knees are tricky they go one way only any thing else risks instability and serious damage but let's see what happens maybe he'll look like he did in that Tampa Bay 2019 game

Andrew Thomas need to stay healthy John Michael Smitdtz should take that second year leap he too gotta stay healthy. Evan Neal needs to finally put it all together and stay healthy. If our new OL coach can get these guys right not Thomas he in a tier 1 group of Tackles. I didnt even mention the linemen we signed in FA. This OL should be at least competent. If our OL can rank between top 12-19 we can make the playoffs. We still got a lot of talent on this roster. Last year just wasnt our year. You know its bad when your Kicker goes down. Followed by the backup and we ran Mason Crosby out there wearing 21. I can't unsee that lol

None of these 'skill position' players are going to make any difference when the team can not block anyone. The Giants have not been able to block anyone in over a decade, expect more of the same this season.

When you allow the undeniable hart & best player you have on your roster to leave because your too cheap to give him a contract. And that hart moves on to compete against you on one of your most hated conference rivals no less. Your owner and front office have failed you as a fan base. I have been a Giant fan all my life and I will be rooting for Saquon Barkley and the Philadelphia Eagles to route the Giants from now until the end of time! Better hope that horribly porous front line that allowed DJ to get injured early in the season has magically learned how to block. The giants front office will still be getting paid win or lose because the team is located in the most populous demographic in the entire nfl plus they have die hard season ticket holders who will buy tickets win or lose. Well... not this fan any longer. 90 minutes isn’t too far for me to drive to see a home game now. I’m glad my father isn’t around to see how petty and poorly run the giants have become.

Wake People DJ is Lozy trips on his own 2 feet twice can't read plays fast enough & 1 mind u 1 FLUKE SEASON delusional people.
Unlike past decades, in today’s NFL, the QB position is by far the most critical position than it has even been and key to winning today. Unfortunately, DJ is mediocre at best. Yes, he has not had much help around him with consistent O-Line problems, no #1 WR, coaching turnovers, etc. ;however, if you look deeper he has core technique problems. He does not read Defenses well, he does not effectively go through his progressions if the targeted WR is not open, he doesn’t have the “pocket clock” which instinctively tells you when pressure is about the close in and it’s time to get rid of the ball, he can’t seem to sidestep trouble in the pocket nor effectively throw on the run and he rarely throws down field to try and have his
WR’s to make a play on the ball. He was awful before he went down last year. The proof--both Taylor and Devito played better than DJ with the same roster last year since they both have better technique and instinct at the position than DJ.
We are doing some good things to finally rebuild this team but I fear at its core remains a weak QB to capitalize on all this new talent. I’m afraid we will squander all the Draft and FA talent that Shoen has managed to bring in with DJ at the helm.
