Yeah same here. Was very stoked initially but then I realised it's Korean-made and a Gacha on top of that.
Might just end up an another Lost Ark in the west, meaning an explosive launch (I love beat'em ups) likely following a decline due to some stupid Asian-mentality driven mechanic solutions, whether item binding, trading restrictions or just lack of balance and pay2win galore.
Hopefully Steparu can shed some light on the details with us.

Reminded so much of an old 2d scroll game I played on PlayStation 2 many years ago, Valkyrie profile series I think. Beautiful, will play for sure.
I absolutely love the art style but this just makes me sad that they decided to make it a gacha game and not a console game since im still waiting for Vanillaware to continue the Dragon's Crown series :/

Game that are made similar or close to vanillaware inspired are my most beloved games because of the artist, bgm, story quality and complex characters even the crazy world fantasy building. That is creativity, love and passion for art. 🥰

I thought this was an action adventure game from the initial trailer. The vanillaware artstyle sold me immediately. Unfortunately as soon as I saw i had to sign up for an account or link my google i immediately noped out. Thanks for the gameplay though. Much appreciated

I was wondering why this looked familiar ied seen ads for it on mobile, it’s currently in the steam fest but I don’t have the patience to deal with another gotcha game at the moment I’m already playing 3 with like 5 more wanting my attention so I’ll add it to the watch list and move on.
Seem very action packed and surely the game wont be overwhelmingly powercreep after release for 2 years

I looked at the art similar to Vanillaware and imagined it was by Flint, creator of Dragon Blaze.
Finally, he had done something new. Dragon Blaze was overloaded with unnecessary content... But this Genshin doll exchange mechanic is already causing stress, which my groups are controlled by AI as in the past. 😑

Drop rates make this game totally not worth playing. Over a dozen pulls and not a single 5*. Don't waste your time unless you plan on spending a shitload of money

I guess Vanillaware is more well known. When I saw Dragon Blaze for the first time, I thought it was a Vanillaware game.
I saw this was the sequel from 1,000 miles away, even when the first trailer called it Dragon Blaze 2. This game takes heavily from Genshin Impact from gameplay and design. It isn't too bad, but wish it would have been more original besides its Vanillware style art.
