Chris Scott without question is one of the most articulate coaches of all time. He is also unflinchingly honest and each time you hear him you learn more about football. He also exudes a decency which is quite remarkable
I'm a Swan's man but I love hearing Chris Scott speak - he is clearly the most intelligent coach/is easily the most articulate, but he also actual answers question (or contests them on their merit) without being overly emotive or defensive or ad hominem
I'm a Bomber man, and I couldn't agree more. If there was any coach we could poach, it would be Chris Scott first, John Longmire second IMO. Not that either are ANY chance of happening of course.

Who watches Gary Rohan plays and thinks "He should be getting more possessions". The entire basis of him being in the team is to heavily apply pressure or be the 3rd key forward if they focus too much on the other 2 big men up front. Silly from Lloyd looking for a headline I think.

I had been one of those knockers because he basically walked into the '11 flag. He said himself, "I didn't even have to do anything, it was all player-driven." I still see 2011 as Bomber Thompson's flag. In my view, Scotty was a 'premiership coach' in name only. It's only now that he has coached the '22 flag that i see him as a genuine premiership coach. Now i do have the utmost respect for him as our coach, but only since the '22 flag. We Are Geelong.
This is the most competitive season I've seen in a long time. Geelong has been the best Team this year by a Few games. In saying that the other seven sides are very close, and the first 4 Games are a flip of the coin could decide who goes ahead and who are the two teams that finish their season history tells us, The Doggies and the Tigers are going out early im hoping that's incorrect and the opposite happens and the Dockers and the Lions are packing their bags for the season ending holiday. @@TheAlphaDingo I don't think it's ridiculous. How many prelims has Scott coached Geelong to in his coaching career? While he's been able to continually coach Geelong to prelims, every other team have come and gone from the top 8. And he has been able rebuild the team in the process.

I saw the stats Lloyd highlighted for Rohan and the difference was there but not significant between finals and the regular season.

He is spot on Richmond style of game is high maintenance game with injuries and fatigue. Manic almost and it involves everyone all in on pressure.
