When my soul finds itself “Caught Out In The Rain”, “I Don’t Need No Doctor”, I just turn to Beth Hart. Her music is my cure all. Whether there is a “War In My Mind” making my head go “Bang Bang Boom Boom”, or I just feel “Broken And Ugly”, I can turn it on and suddenly I feel “Immortal”.
When the hard nights come, as they often do, I carry her music to bed, along with my “Bottle Of Jesus” and just “Leave The Light On”. By morning I have realized that there are no more “Spiders In My Bed” and that soon “A Change Is Gonna Come”, because from this moment on I am “Setting Me Free”!

I just discovered Beth a couple of months ago. Although my tastes in music varied, I was never a Blues fan. That is no longer true.Well... I'm not so sure I'm a Blues fan, but I am a Beth Hart fan. She seduced me with her voice, but I didn't put up much of a fight. I absolutely love listening to her sing.

(Apparently I look better at 46 than I did at 20! And it doesn't hurt that I have a kickass shot on the pool table, and the only woman in the place that actually can shoot) Once I realized that I mattered more and filled for divorce from an abusive alcoholic.... I can't wait to see what this is. I'm sure I'm a broken record right now but man am I feeling blue big Time. With my husband 30yrs didn't get married till about a week before he passed from cancer. He always wanted to but I was scared too even tho considered us married anyway and by law we were married. I just sent my kids to live with my Dad because of some bullying issues so this is the first time ever that I've been alone. It's scary, lonely, anxiety thru the roof. Never heard of her before but she's got a great voice for rock or the blues. Really good.
I can't say enough about this lady. She is just f'ing spectacular! I fell in-love with this talented beginning with her CD 'Screaming For My Super' - I love every freaking song on that CD. Since then, and I'm being honest; she has been my second favorite recording artist behind Alanis Morissette. A close 3rd for me is Joss Stone. The first time I've ever heard of Beth Hart was an appearance she did on The Tonight Show; this had to be in the 1990s; she as performing LA Song at the piano. Her back was sort of semi turned to the audience and she was wearing I deep v-shaped back dress/gown and the expression on her face just wowed me. I just couldn't take my eyes off of her ...her voice ...she just drew me in.
Beth Hart just captures your soul and hypnotizes you. Her powerful voice controls your body and mind throughout her songs. And of course she will leave you wanting more. I hope she concerts in Vancouver BC this year or next. I think I need to see her ....hell, experience her in concert.
