    This is a great development and economic booster for Lagos state and Nigeria as a whole.
    This is why all Lagosian should open their eyes and brain to vote progressive party so the progress of the megacity will not be detarred.
    Don't allow visitors that cannot go to their state for a weekend visit for the fear of kidnapping spoil Lagos for us.
    The armer robbers on the way, but will claim they build Lagos.

    I thank governor Sanwo Olu for adhering to his words to the good people of Lagos state. God will continue to inspire and help him to achieve more. However he should advise his local government chairmen to develop the local road because they are in charge of inside streets road. The drainage are dirty. They should collaborate with the residents to manage their drainage. Even in Victoria Island the inside streets are bad and drainage are full that when there is a small rain the road will be full of debris. The local government should allow people to see their presence since they are autonomous now.

    We challenge every states in Nigeria to live upto and act their names:
    "Lagos, Center of Excellence"
    .... and they're living it up, it's that simply.

      Is lagos really living up to it name centre of excellence?Apart from the island most part of lagos is nothing to write home about.Even vi is not look great.

      @suntanglory if Lagos isn't doing it for you, try leave and work in other state...a trial will convince you.
      I get you point, it's hard to rẹ-develop already congested area. That's the reason town planners, architect and civil engineer design on paper to know how much green/concrete space, parking, sidewalks, streets/road, lightning and underground utilities is required before building. Once you create a ghetto, it'll remain a ghetto but you can improve few things just like the rail.
      This is the reason Nigeria can't and will never look like Dubia or Singapore like most Nigerians wants to see across the country.
      A new town in each states like Eko Atlantic will need to be created.

    Peter Obi said infrastructure does not boost the economy.

    • @jayo3074

      It doesn't. Producing goods and services does

    • @BaronCapital-lt5oz
      @BaronCapital-lt5oz 3 дня назад

      @jayo3074 So tell me how you will transport those goods and services to the urban market if the road infrastructure is not put in place?
      Maybe you wanted to say the farmers and manufacturers should eat and use their produce while people in the city or urban market get starved on those basic need.

    • @jayo3074
      @jayo3074 3 дня назад

      @@BaronCapital-lt5oz no what I wanted to say was to really improve the economy the government should focus on reducing inflation. Most people can't even afford transport as it is currently. Adding more transport is useless is people can't pay for it.

    • @BaronCapital-lt5oz
      @BaronCapital-lt5oz 3 дня назад

      @jayo3074
      Improving the economy means putting the right structure in the right places.
      Economy improves when people are able to produce/manufacture and distribute the right goods to the right places.
      This does not happen in one day
      No matter who the president is in the Western world, the economy would s be sustained because the right structures are already in the right places.
      These foundational structures are what the current government is putting in the right places, so don't expect to see the immediate effect until after 5 years.
      Tinubu may lay the foundation, and the next government may actually be the beneficiary of the solid structures.
