That was the Japanese rock version of I Don't Care but not the better rock version. The best one is the Korean rock version with the live band.
This version of "I DON'T CARE" is really gooooood. But the BEST LIVE is in Korean version which has live band. They have a lot of amazing live performances. Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank you for reacting to them.

i love seeing people still watching 2ne1 these days.❤️ I've been a blackjack since their debut(12yrs). i love kpop. but to this day, i still couldn't find gg artists in kpop similar to 2ne1. well, mamamoo comes close. but the 2nd gen era is still the best for me. and i miss them so much😭

CL is the leader, so that might partially be why, but yeah, the focus was on CL and Bom in my opinion too. Both had some solo songs, CL even had a solo tour. Dara often had the least lyrics/singing (she does have a softer voice that doesn't always fit every song or moment, but still). She did have a solo (Kiss) and has sang for soundtracks. She originally wanted to join the company as an actress, so maybe she was fine with it all; she's still with YG. Minzy had a lot of parts but never had a solo that I recall though was promised one. That's why she left.

Actually it depends in where they are performing. When they are in Korea they always focus on Dara and Bom because their visual has a more appeal in korea's beauty standard.When they did their concert here Philippines Dara is always the focus because she became phenomenal celebraty here before she went to korea and be part of 2EN1. I think in other country they focus on CL because she is the leader and BOM is the main vocal also she is like anliving doll.
@@kraykitty1277 that's true and I did consider that, but I was speaking in a more general sense throughout their career with YG and not specific situations and not strictly camera time; more musically. I feel like CL and Bom has been YG's focus in terms of promotion and allowing them to do things like solo songs and shoes (Bom in Roommates). However, strangely, Dara has been allowed (so it seems) more freedom than the others but I feel like her activities aren't well-known or promoted internationally, but that might just be my perception.
@@MadCheshireHat just to add. I forgot where I read this article. You can see that Dara got fewer lines over the years of 2ne1 being together. One of the reasons is she might overshadow the rest of the members due to popularity. Before debuting Dara is already known. During early 2ne1 years Dara was really In'Demand that's the reason why of all the members she were the 1st one to have a solo song (due to sponsorship). Many artist wants a collab , companies wants to have her as ambassador, television networks offer YG to have dara as a lead role. That's why the promotion is in the other members. As you can see today, of all the members Dara still has lots of projects. :)
But I hope YG can promote her better. She's already big but she can gets bigger.

They're really fun to watch and their energy ... oh my!!!ltheir live performances are daebak always!!!
The reason you can hear everybody perfectly in this performance is because it was done professionally by mixing & mastering engineers. The only way I can prove this is that their is a BLU-RAY 5.1 audio mix and you can hear the isolated vocals in one of them. Where as during MAMA it is 100% live and there are no adjustments hence why a lot of artist lip sync because it’s better than not being able to pick up the mic feed due to the crowd screaming.

And for the record, this is the Japanese version what more if their singing it in korean. I’ve been a kpop fan for more than a decade and up until now and I never watched any girl groups perform to even get close on how good these Queens perform. How I wish I could watched them perform again altogether.

You only got go see 2ne1 doing some choreo during music shows. Their motto during concert was always hyping, playing, and interacting the crowd. No one wants to see some heavy choreo anyway during concerts instead of interacting with the crowd when you get to see it over and over again during music shows. That's what they did during their last performance here, you can see that they are just playing around, doing some pose for fans while singing. If you will watch a lot of their live performance during concerts and during music shows, you will understand what I mean. 🙂

I ain't got much to say bro as your question has already been answered by someone but what I'm going to say is that what you just saw is a staple of what every YG Artists could do in a live performance, not just 2NE1 but everyone who hails under YG could dominate a stage like no other, their lives are 100x much than their mvs.

there's no favoritism during that mama stage. the fact is that award shows just have poor mic quality or something. Not the first time it happened to 2ne1. They aren't the only artist who experienced mic problems during an award shows.

The focus was always on whoever was singing but sometimes cameramen might not always get the desired shots right and other shots might make better shots and they make the final cut. Having said that, Park Bom was the main singer and often get the chorus, and CL also sings the most part so they get more camera time. Dara gets the least singing part but often the more memorable parts, when people are asked to sing bits of their songs, it's always Dara's part. Some songs are specifically made to highlight one member and they get the most or best part (e.g. Dara - for Clap Your Hands, Minzy - Missing you ). The camera thing was something I spoke about a lot. Minzy in specific if you look at older stuff got a lot more than she did after 2011..? They started amping it back up after the first couple AON concerts. She became an adult and took control over her appearance and performance (they actually asked her to tone herself down a lot around the time she was getting less exposure) In the YG family concerts there were more, but that same year they had to go on hiatus. MINZY&CL were almost pushed as duo within the group (like GDTOP/GDYB). CL(GD) MINZY(TOP/TAEYANG) When 2NE1 covered BB those were their parts usually. CL sings too, but Minzy and Taeyang were the dancers and had similar energy. Blackjacks still feel robbed to this day lol. You get to see their only song together as well as Bom and Dara solo in the 2009 Award Show Performance I linked.
Edit : Actually no. No GDTOP/GDYB...MINZY&CL brought their own form energy. It's just as a female duo and a duo from YGFam..those are good comparisons

This is lit but the Korean Rock Version is soooo much better. They wildin and rocking it hard with their live band. The energy in that performance is like zero to gazillion. 🙂 try watching it.

It's always focused on CL and Bom because CL is the leader of the group and she has the most line. And Bom because, aside from being the Main Vocalist Park Bom was the main girl of 2ne1 back then she is the most popular member of the group especially in Korea and Japan while Minzy is the youngest YG tries to hold her back for being a Hoe which is style and she was kinda underrated Minzy is one of the Best Female dancers in Kpop to all time she's the one and only queen of freestyle but the thing is 2ne1 is a vocal group although she had the technique in singing Minzy often overshadowed by Park Bom's unique voice also by CL too being a rapper although she is great though, Minzy is just so underrated and that's sad. To Dara the knetz think she's the least talented among the 2ne1 members and refer her as a visual only. Unlike CL and Minzy the is considered as an all rounder.
Another thing, CL maybe the leader of the group and Dara the visual, Park Bom on the other hand is the Face of 2ne1.
