Bought one a few weeks ago. I’m a new player with a slow arm speed. I sit around 275 feet with fairway drivers. I love how this Hex doesn’t turn over and I can really whip it and it just goes straight 200-225 feet before it fades softly. The Neutron plastic is nice as well. It’s one of my favorite discs already.
I throw a Hex regularly as well and to me its pretty much interchangeable with my Lat64 Claymore that I was throwing before I got my Hex. They are almost the same disc. If you cant sample a Hex, sample a friends Claymore for the same results.
The weights don't seem to make a massive difference in stability, I'm usually more concerned with choosing one that seems a little more likely to turn and one that seems pretty stable still so I have both shot options. The only disc where I've really noticed a weight difference affecting flight a ton is my fission photons.
Appreciate the thoughtful insight. So many disc reviews just say the say the same things (use the same buzz words)
I agree 100% best straight mid out there ,I believe in owning 2

Watching your drives, It looks like the -1/ 1 numbers are correct. Flips a tiny bit and slight fade at the end. Love the Hex!
I got one of these recently and it is really nice, perfect disc for those shots where I need you to go stay perfectly straight
Hex is soooo good. Great distance, reliable, and easy to throw
The hex has basically replaced my reactor. Its a little more glidey and super controllable

How do you decide when to use different weights of the Hex? Looks like you’ve got a spread from 169-177. I just got one in 174.
