I’m not sure what that sound is they’re using - it’s almost like synth bagpipes, or synth hurdygurdy noises. It’s a lot less brassy sounding than the Shadowing, to me at least. Either way it’s fucking amazingly well used in this song.
I think my favorite bit of trivia about this song was from Tanks reaction where he said they designed this song to be a bit of a crowd favorite / pit hype song - but it’s also a break for the band since the guitar riffs are pretty easy, and the drums don’t go as hard as say, North Star of Nija lol
Yeah it didn't have that much drilling and technicality come to think of it, it is an easier song to play, but just as much of a monster to listen to! Unbelievable freaking groovy and badass! Orchestral sound still came off rather brassy to me so I'd have to give it more listens to check but you're the expert in that area I guess! Cheers! /Andrei

I remember when I first heard the song,,,I actually didn't think I'd like it BUT after a minute I was totally engrossed in it, vocals are absolutely killer! P.s. I love the nightwish tee, Tuomas is like a hot steam punk pirate,,,and I dig it!

@@thewindmillfullovcorpses Sick recommendations! I thought mirrorslave was my favorite until I heard SUN OF AAAAALL, the way the song had the clear guitar section for a moment, it was like the calm before the storm,,,
It's always hard for me to get into metal bands that mix vocal styles (you experience the nastiest guttural animal noises then you get punched in the ear with clean harmonies grrr) it almost reminds me of metalcore style but I think OC balances the mix really well! Anyway, sorry for the novel long comment, I've been binging lots of your videos since I've missed a handful, you two are addicting to watch! Always love the reactions and hearing your opinions on songs!\m/
I LOVE Sun of All as well! We have reactions to these as well, and if you were to continue your binging with those I feel very honored (unless u got better things to do in which case DO THE THING). I get what you're saying about the harsh/clean mix but for me it's usually bands that use both that really stick to me. No worries for long comments, I always love a rambler, I am one myself! First listen to Orbit Culture. I can't say I'm a fan of the vocals but the band sounds kick ass!
Wasn't the biggest fan of the James Hetfield style singing either at first but I got into it pretty quickly! /Andrei
