The Smoke House Lodge Cabins are MUCH nicer but they were all booked up. The Sewanee Inn is also very nice but it also stays booked up. AirBNBs also tend to be full in the area. Compared to the other hotel options in the area this is one of the better spots to stay that gives you great access to some really wonderful things to do in the area. I have been trying to film the cabins here but they have been booked every time I get a chance to visit this area. The Smokehouse does have some short videos of the cabins on RUclips that will give you an idea of what they are like. The internet at the Smokehouse Lodge has been very sporadic on my last two visits so that is frustrating. There are also some bed & breakfast options in Monteagle I haven't stayed at and I don't know anybody that has stayed at those so they look nice on the outside but I don't know anything more about them. Chattanooga has more options but that is a decent distance away if you are exploring the Sewanee/Monteagle area.

I’d be disappointed with that room
