Im still shocked at how much the moves were nerfed, cost wise. P5R a garu spell is 4 and in here how much was it...12? The good thing is that the game forces you you use the main mechanic of the game rather than heavely rely on persona spells
@@flallana18 The answer is probably that Satanael was designed specifically to be Joker’s Ultimate Persona in the base game, and Raoul was a final afterthought released as DLC for Royal. I’m not sure exactly what was going through their heads - maybe they didn’t *want* Raoul to be superior to Satanael, for some reason?
@@flallana18Considering he's DLC they probably didn't want Ren having it super early, whereas an easy fix would've been to like...maybe in 3rd semester give the player a Satanael that eventually becomes Raoul and then subsequent NG+ playthroughs you have to manually make them

Meaning that while having Satanel as his persona makes Joker more powerful, Raoul is better for his mental health. Satanel is who he needs to be, Raoul is who he truly is
It's because in P5 Tactica you can't change personas like in other Persona 5 titles. Every squad member can equip a sub-persona which are unlocked from missions and fusions. This gives the squad member the persona's stats and skills but all the animations are only for the main persona. In Joker's case this would be Arsene
As far as I'm aware, the story of the base game takes place right before Joker leaves Tokyo and the story of Akechi and Kasumi dlc happens before finishing Sae's Palace.
Yo! this might be a bit late, but may I ask how do you get all those special fusion recipe? I got everything until Vasuki and then Satanael. All those in between does not unlocked.
@@BuffMaister I already cleared every quests and beat the game once on Merciless. Now I'm on Merciless NG+. So I'm kinda wonder if there's other ways to unlock recipes that I'm not aware of.

They only act as a sub =/, there is nothing special about any of them other than the unique skill they come with. Equip 1 persona with the exp / macca buff.
I just rolled with Joker, Panther and Morgana but I went on saftey mode through the whole game as this gameplay isn't my type to get invested in. The AI behaviour should always be the same so you can always manipulate it, even the boss patterns are scripted. If you're playing on a higher difficulty, each character has its purpose and also depends if you're going with dlc personas. Panther has matarukaja and has high damage overall. I guess a healer as 2nd and joker for being the protag as 3rd.

I believe you cant, the first skill a persona has is unchangeable

Completing all quests for each kingdom unlocks fusion recipes. If you haven't finished every quest, those might be that you are missing.
