These are much better! 🩷 Love the fabric tops and tails. My only complaint would be for the $100 price tag it would have been nice to have the pattern of the tail continue on the back. Padding in the tails would have been good, too....can't have everything, I suppose. 😄🧜♀️
all of them having saran makes me so so happy! i was scared the ones with fantasy colored hair would be polypropylene, thank god mattel didnt cheap out.
I absolutely loved the remake and I LOVE the designs they gave Ariel’s sisters! Each of their tails have a unique design and pattern, and they no longer look like collectibles, which makes it easier to tell who is who! 💖💖🧜♀️🧜♀️

I came across this video this morning from MmDisney200 and I have to say...God Bless him. I was entertained and all of a sudden I am interested in the Little Mermaid and her sisters. I have never really seen the film in its entirety and I don't remember her having sisters like this. MmDisney200 attention to detail and steady explanation on why it matters....particularly their hair...makes this video important and necessary to explain the art and the beauty even in plastic and consumption. Caspia is also so authentic, new mold, fresh face. I somehow like Karina the least, but she's also very interesting! Love the set. Really wish they had articulated arms indeed 🙌 And the idea of making such nice beautiful elaborated tails, with bright unique patterns and colors - just beautiful, as unique, individual vibration of the girl becomes visible (unlike in real life, we think that we need to wear something special additionally to make the others feel our unique vibration 😅, here it's just part of the body - quite symbolic 😄)
I love novel face sculpts, and I love diversity in my doll collection, so the best thing about this set is the way they all look together. Different body types would have been even better. Unfortunately, they are $165 in Canada, even though the exchange rate should only make them $135. Hopefully there is an abundant supply and the price will drop a bit so I can get them.
I have the 7 pack and the 3 pack, I only opened the 3 pack. But they're all so pretty. I REALLY want an open Tamika doll but I can't justify breaking my set open.
They are so beautiful, but the lilac and the pink hair ... I don't know ... I'd prefered if these two sisters just became natural hair colours like the other five.
It's Disney they will milk this mermaid cow for all it's worth. Maybe some deluxe extended edition soundtrack will be released after the film comes out. My guess is that when the physical release comes out they'll pump out another wave of merchandise.
Caspia is my favorite sister💕 She came from my least favorite to my favorite and I haven't even seen the movie yet😆 Bute yeah she was my least favorite design, I just thought they did her dirty with her design but then that quality of her led to her becoming my fav for some reason. Can't wait for the film

Not a good match at all. Indira’s face is a bit lighter than her body but it’s still darker than Ariel’s.. but missfroggystuff did a really good video finding matches for each of the sisters if you need it 😀
The old mermaid toys have no plastic for the tail but textiles, so you can just undress them to have those with legs. A shame that they do all those mermaids with plastic tails. 🙂

I say this because for the price point, I believe all the dolls should have articulated arms and longer hair.The head/ face molds aren't terrible , the years is 2023 and the quality of these dolls is giving me. 1990s quality. I'll pass on these sushi sisters for now. Surely this set will be on clearance soon enough.
But 1990s quality was much better, no pixelated make up, no printed on buttons and pockets on clothes. Less variety in face molds but they were also less flat (now most dolls don't have eye sockets)
As a transgender woman very young grown up the little mermaid was everything to me I had every single doll from 1997 and after I have so many in the box rare little mermaid dolls that are not even on eBay Because they are so rare But I am so disgusted with this movie Ariel’s sisters are not consistent to the animated movie & animated movie was a cartoon and they’re trying to make it look different but they are actually trying to make Ursula play by Melissa McCarthy looking like the animated version with terrible drag make up unblended eyeshadow Ursula was based on the drag performer divine and to take the look of a drag queen and put on Melissa does not work Ariel sisters do you not look like they are sisters and I think mermaids can be any race they are but I’m talking about the costumes and the tales each of the sisters look like they come from a different fish one looks like a lion fish and the other one looks like a parrot fish it is so stupid and each mermaid is wearing a top not even a seashell bra but a strange top and they each have stupid powers the reason why the movie splash done so well it’s because they use prosthetics real prosthetics that took ages and ages to make in studios but with this they’re just using CGI for everything even parts of her hair now the best dolls that are mermaids obviously little 1997 2000s but the best Barbie was the mermaid fantasy when she had a latex rubber tail that moved with pressure I would’ve loved to see this in these dolls hair their tails are just hard plastic and they have a bit of cloth material for the fins it looks so cheap what mermaid do you see wearing a top mermaids realistically even though this fantasy should have a seashell bra or just long hair covering their chest I am so upset with how bad is dolls look I love your channel I really think about doing my own channel of my collection of rare dolls specially little mermaid dolls that no one has but I do wish I had the money to purchase the Vanessa limited edition those as I have so much Vanessa figurines and play line dolls she was my favourite villain Ursula and herself even though they’re one person but anyway grown-up I was severely bullied and my whole family was so supportive and loving and when I would go to school and people were so horrible towards me I used to take my aerial down in my bag and go into the toilets and stay in the toilets for two hours wishing I could go home to my mum and I will just hug my doll and pretend and wish for the day that I can leave this horrible school but I would always have Ariel with me so I’m just really upset with how this new movie looks it looks cheap tacky and overly produced CGI even though it’s a fantasy you want to see some realism even the mermaids in Hook and the mermaids in Peter Pan animated film they all look like they are sisters I just wish this movie would’ve been better
They don’t even have “bras” in this movie. Scales cover their breasts instead. And idk why some people are getting bent out of shape over the OG sisters being changed and renamed. They were never a pivotal part of the OG film but they now have more of a role in this REIMAGINING. And they all have different tail designs because they represent/rule over different oceans. They all look great, btw.
