Hi Julie. I’m a new sub and just wanted to say how wonderful it is to see your exploration of the Peaks and the ability to download the route to my Wahoo. I’ve been looking for a route to go out and do on Friday, and with not knowing the area, this is super-helpful☺️
@@JuliePhelanExplore Gravel. I’m a relative newcomer to gravel and like to have plenty of technical bits to work through, so don’t want to end up on long stretches of ex-railway trails that are flat and tame, but also not experienced enough for super technical… especially as I ride alone. Your videos really help me decide on a route for that reason. I’m from Newark, so fairly flat, but found some farm access roads and bridleway with large loose gravel and stones with gradients of up to 15%, and I’ve been getting up and down them, so want to try some new terrain with a view to maybe doing a 2022 gravel event.
Dont know anything about the cycle way, sorry. As for the bridleway there are a few challenging bits once you leave Hurdlow, so a mtb is a good idea and will undoubtedly make things easier. In wet conditions some of the off road will be very muddy and sketchy. Hope that's helpful.
Hi Jon there is a Strava link in the comments but you can also download the GPX file from here www.dropbox.com/s/kvevi6j47n9tqxo/Pennine%20Bridleway%20Loop.gpx?dl=0

Thankyou

The Bamford Stanage Loop is perfect for you. At some point I will be running a guided ride with some coaching in the Peak District .
@@JuliePhelanExplore I’d be really up for that. Thanks for the advice. ☺️

Thanks, I’d not noticed ☺️
