18:05 is my favorite transition. I really like it. I like to imagine that people in trance experience immense scene change at that moment.

my favorite transition was at 51:22, it shows that no matter how good you are, mistakes can always happen (he saved it pretty good too i think?)

Discovered this guy and every single set is just f**** good. Amazing
Love the energy he brings and the track selection. The flow is amazing and the variety of sounds is so refreshing. This guy is great.
You're a madman, a GENIUS!!!
I'm not huge into DJs but this guy has me hooked
Love how this guy is always bouncing his head completely off beat to the song
In the past, I had thought so too. But then I realised he's just 5 tracks ahead.
I love how you can’t hear the beat he’s bouncing to
sound travels slower than light
Because he synced with the snare
it is a DJ stuff, when you bouncing off beat
Love the Sunn O))) shirt, he was stood like 2 feet away from me at the first night they did at Berghain
If you show up just wanting to enjoy the music and aren’t wearing some crazy outfit will they let you in?

This guy looks like he either plans his moves hours in advance or three miliseconds before making them. I can't really tell which, but I love it either way, will look him up!
starting to believe theres just an a/v desync due to the livestream
really ? I think he's so in it it's like he occasionally remembers there are other people watching - LOVE it

Yousuke being a SUNN fan makes a lot of sense. Both artists create these walls of sound
I like his first HOR set more since it's more chaotic, but this one has a different appeal!
SUPER SET!
Unique music and performance compared to others. On top of that, this dude is mixing live a lot, and all the changes he applies are so well heard. Thus, moving hands and 'using' the DJ panes is not just a part of his performance.
My respect man!
I find he is tune into his energy to table on , and open his mind through the beat and mix

Very good stuff!
So he has about 66 head bops per minute
, assuming around a foot per head bop
and a set of 54m 40s…
that’s 7208 feet,
about 1.365 miles. This comes out to about approximately 1.497 miles per hour (mph).
For context:
The average walking speed for a human is about 3 to 4 mph.
A very leisurely stroll might be closer to 2 mph.
So, 1.497 mph is slower than the typical walking pace for an adult. It's more like a very slow amble or a casual wander, perhaps similar to the pace one might take while meandering through a museum or casually window-shopping.
It seems faster than that…
There must be an inconsistency somewhere; perhaps my foot approximation is too conservative.
We conclude that yousuke’s head bops must exceed a foot in length. Quite remarkable.
If we assume a foot and a half head bop. We get a speed is approximately 2.248 mph. This is closer to a leisurely walking speed. However, I don’t think he moves his head that far
. Perhaps because he has to stop twice for each head bop? I am sure that adds up over almost an hour. What do you guys think?
Maybe he is moving so fast that he is close to the speed of light and to us it looks like he is almost standing still, therefore your speed calculation are correct. case closed?
Because I really like your idea of calculating the distance his head has moved throughout the set, let me give you a basic input for reevaluating your whole calculation.
Your assumption of 66 hbpm (head bops per minute) is incorrect. The hbpm should be equal to the bpm (beat per minute), which is around 131 for the timestemps I was referencing to.
I don’t think we can arbitrarily equate the hpbm to the bpm. I would recommend timing how many head bops we does in either a 30s or minute interval and extrapolating.
@@sebastianperalta5594 Something I noticed straight away as well is the hbpm seems to be off by some. Sometimes bopping at one and then falling to two. It happens to me too and it's so comforting to know that u can still play a set like this even when your body gets confused 😄
deffinitely the king of blending
this is amazing, ngl. so much minimal beauty. there's truly sophistication in simplicity and this guy is a fucking master at it.

Yousuke is an evil genius ans an inspiration, I hope one day I can bring this amount of care and attention to a set
Evil? Haha
i love how he meditates on the right moment to tap stsrt on BOTH tracks ! i was curious what hes gonna start with.. but then... two tracks with a beat could jave been a disaster with a milisecond apart 🤣👍 great creative selection, big ups, and yes plz more people carryjng the torch of REAL art of djing forward. reminds me a lot.of the warehouse feel of events i used to dj in the 90ies with 2 or 3 vinyl decks, pitchable cassette tape deck/cd player with no tempo adjust, live percussion, sometimes a drum machine, a selfbuilt fx rack from a no input mixer on a boombox for dub sirens with delay and echo, and the odd find or recorded sound on minidisc from world travels, including unreleased mixes for try-out... blending genres and having exotic elements was that much harder to achieve fluently with only vinyl from record store digging around the world, since the internet was just born 194-98.. files took foreeeeeeeever to download or cds to burn.. and a narrow range of tempos to adjust and cds without tempo adjustment... u had to really know your tracks, and be creative. basicly evry set was a live production jam, with overdubs, halfpitch tempo or pitched up tempo samples 44/33 rpm, mixing oriental drums with rpitched up reggae.or hiphop to match techno beats, tibetan monk singing with ton of reverb and delay, the odd solo insteument solo sax or oud or synth fx record frkm the 70/80ies mixed in with techno, detroit electro, early psy/trance, dubplate jungle, early abstract dub (like the original richie hawtin series), the odd live wahwah guitsr or a live drummer to go along a damn hard funky techno set in any basement or tunnel, bridge, meadow, strobe and fogmachine til youre in the zone... the experimental character, the freedom to explore unchartered vast musical space, the curiosity what might lie ahead soncily and psychedelicly, and the feeling of unity of fellow dancers, psychonauts.. undescribable... cheers to the 90s rave scene
He only starts off with one track that we can hear. The rest I can agree on:)
i love it!
Very Apocalyptic love the hypontic energy
