Yes, In this sum, It can be simply say that 338* comes to 360* when the plate is pulled, Incase we didn't cut degree, we have totally 360* plate. We already know the expansion degree value for 338. (360=338+22) [|]. 338* => 360*, we need to find the value for remaining 22*. [360-338=22] [||]. 22* => ? 22/338 = 0.065.. 0.065.. X 22 = 1.4319.. For 22* => 22+1.4319.. = 23.4319.. Close but not quite right. The development size should be 322 OD x 122 ID with a split angle of 19.8 degrees to give exactly one pitch segment.
