EVs are a waste of money and dangerous to people and the environment. the batteries and chemicals are the worst.
Batteries are made up of materials that can be recycled. Everybody I read here that scream how dirty EVs are don't actually care about the environment but instead are just looking for anything that supports their argument that EVs are bad.

how are we supposed to pay for the road repairs when the EV’s aren’t paying any fuel taxes?
Governments have already figured that out and have started to charge an equivalent fuel tax on EVs in some jurisdictions. (Alberta,Canada)

The late great George Carlin was a brilliant prophet as an American comedian and the Earth will be plus plastic in the future.
Trade one pollutant for another. Lithium EV batteries are highly toxic to people and our environment, a constant fire danger adding one more thing to an all ready polluted environment . EMF Radiation is another concern from these EVs
I could've sworn Tesla uses lithium batteries.
EV's only produce EMF radiation if and when they connect to a cellular network. EV's are no worse for EMF radiation than a cellphone. ICE cars emit much more EMF because of the high-voltage spark plug coils.
"EVs emit less CO2" - CO2 is really not a problem at all, in fact we need more of it. CO2 is only about 400ppm of the atmosphere. That is about 0.04%, as ppm means parts per million. As far as solar radiation absorption or loss (the so called greenhouse effect) , water vapor and clouds is much, much more important. The variable distance from the sun and the variable radiance of the sun are much more important. The focus on reducing CO2 is a very costly hoax that is enriching certain people and is very costly for the rest of us. CO2 has in the far past been much higher than today. One or two large volcanoes can have a much greater effect than anything all of mankind can do. The more you reduce CO2, the more difficult it becomes to grow the crops that feed the world's living creatures.
Curious how the carbon generated in the production of EVs compares to how much EVs reduce carbon emissions. Is it net zero, even?

EVs use fossil fuel generated power to recharge in most places.
It's a total scam
Why would i want an EV when i can get a car that flies??
My 2011 Volkswagen GTI weighs 2800 pounds, a typical EV weighs over 4,000 pounds. In a collision it is probably 3 times as deadly to pedestrians cyclists and passengers of other lighter vehicles, and deadlier to me if I am hit by one of those overweight abominations. If a Tesla or another EV powered vehicle accidentally hits a motorcyclist, its 90% of the time fatal. Get these horrible overweight trash vehicles off the road for everyone's safety, including myself.
An NBER study of 5.8m accidents in USA showed being hit by a 1,000-pound heavier vehicle results in roughly a one in one thousand (0.1%) increase in fatality risk. A major contributor to pedestrian fatalities is high bumper height and poor bumper design. ICE SUV's and pickups easily take the title as being the most dangerous vehicles on the road for cyclists, motorcyclist, and pedestrians.
As a tax paying citizen, I want a refund.
Nucleomituphobia refers to an irrational fear or aversion to nuclear power plants and nuclear energy production. This fear often stems from a lack of understanding about nuclear power technology, safety measures, and risk assessments. The perception of risk associated with nuclear power is often disproportionate to its actual safety record, especially when compared to other forms of energy production. This fear increases the cost per kwh of electricity produced from nuclear power, preventing it from being the hands-down cheapest and greenest way to produce electricity.
So, you charge your EV from the wall plug in your garage, and it explodes and catches fire which cannot be extinguished, you and your family burn up at 3:00 a.m. There is no electrical supply infrastructure for EV charging except for traditional electrical generating methods including diesel generators which supply power to various EV charging stations. Wind turbines are prone to self-destruction from high winds. Solar panels are planted on our flat agricultural lands which could mean starvation in the future. Solar only generates power with sunlight. Hurricanes, tornados, winter, snow, sleet, fog, overcast skies, and so on, terminate production and there is a need for expensive storage batteries to provide stored electricity at night. The Biden administration has slapped us in the face with the theory that EVs will save the planet. EVs are the politician's boondoggle thrown into our collective faces.
That's why Trump's CHINA EV prediction is bunk .. no fool would plug in "Made in China" junk at home .. US home insurance companies will double your rates for owning one.
