Chota Banki Dam , also known as Harlung Dam. This dam is located about 20 kms from the city of Jamshedpur. How to reach Chhota Banki
From Jamshedpur:
You can use your car or bike to reach Chhota Banki. Apart from this, you can also use local transport like cabs or autos. The distance of Chhota Banki Dam from the city is about 20 km.
From Kolkata:
If you want to reach Chota Banki Dam from Kolkata, you can easily reach by both rail and road. If you are traveling by train, you have to get down at Tatanagar Junction and then hire a cab or auto from the station to Chota Banki. The distance from Tatanagar Junction to Chota Banki Dam is about 22 km via Harlung Road.
If you are travelling by road then you can use these routes.
1) 270 km via NH16, NH49 and NH18 : आप कोलकाता से Howrah - Kolaghat - Midnapore - Baharagora - Ghatshila होते हुए छोटा बांकी बांध पहुँच सकते है। इस रास्ते पर टोल हैं।
2) 278 km via SH 2 : आप कोलकाता से Dankuni - Arambag -Kotulpur -Manbazar - Banduan होते हुए छोटा बांकी बांध पहुँच सकते है। इस रास्ते पर टोल हैं।
3) 332 km via NH19 : आप कोलकाता से Dankuni - Burdwan - Durgapur - Bankura - Manbazar - Banduan होते हुए छोटा बांकी बांध पहुँच सकते है। इस रास्ते पर टोल हैं।
रांची से :
अगर आप रांची से छोटा बांकी बांध पहुंचना चाहते हैं, तो आप रेल और सड़क दोनों मार्ग से आसानी से पहुंच सकते हैं। यदि आप ट्रेन से यात्रा कर रहे हैं, तो आपको टाटानगर जंक्शन पर उतरना होगा और फिर स्टेशन से छोटा बांकी के लिए कैब या ऑटो किराए पर लेना होगा। टाटानगर जंक्शन से छोटा बांकी बांध की दूरी हरलुंग रोड के माध्यम से करीब 22 किमी है।
अगर आप सड़क मार्ग से यात्रा कर रहे हैं तो आप इन मार्गों का उपयोग कर सकते हैं।
1) 146 km via NH43 : आप रांची से Bundu - Tamar - Chauka - Jamshedpur होते हुए छोटा बांकी बांध पहुँच सकते है।
2) 164 km via NH43 and NH18 : आप रांची से Bundu - Sonahatu - Ichagarh - Chauka होते हुए छोटा बांकी बांध पहुँच सकते है।
