Enjoyed your creek vid with the new Micro WormZ. They will be a wonderful addition to the Z-Man MF family and will catch everything that swims. Best wishes, Don
I picked up a few packs of these a couple of weeks ago, just haven't had the time to give them a try yet. They look great for ultra-light, multi-species fishing. I've had good results using the Z-man micro finesse TRD's this year and I'm sure these Wormz's will work just as good. Thank you for the video!!!
That ZMan Micro Worm looks like it would be awesome. I have been fishing the ZMan LarvaZ with much success this summer. I had some I bought when they first came out, but like you on your initial test video, the jig heads I had just were too big. About 4 months ago I found a RUclips channel called i_fish. He also makes his own jig heads. They are modeled after the Japanese style jig heads but easily ordered and very reasonably priced. Honestly, you're most likely NOT going to like them because they don't have a hook keeper, and you do need to use super glue for maximum success. I use them, with the little hook "Micro Clips" he also sells. For me, this was a game changer. The hooks are very sharp, don't get dull, and are small enough that I started catching a lot more fish because I can cast them further than the Trout Magnet hooks. My biggest success has been with the ZMan LarvaZ. I trimmed the eyes off and super glued them with only 1 small drop of glue to the jig head. (Best glue is Locktite with the black center of the bottle. It's waterproof.) They have proven to be the best lure for me this summer. I use the green pumpkin, red and even the pink lures. Most of my tackle work is between 11pm and 2am after the family goes to bed, and I'm retired, so I can afford the time to do this stuff now. Three years ago, maybe not. I stumbled on your channel today while looking to see how people fished the LarvaZ. I wasn't really knocked out by the lure when I first got it, but it has been SO productive for me this summer after the jig head change and eye trimming modification, that I just felt like I should share it with you. I used to live in New Jersey and lived in Allentown, PA and Phillipsburg, NJ my first couple of years out of college back in 1975 - 1978. Watching you fish made me miss that area SOOO much. I'm down here dripping in sweat on my fishing outings and you looked so comfortable fishing those creeks. Man do I miss that! Thanks for sharing. I'll be watching more this afternoon and in the future. Blessings!
@@chipseiler1766 I have some of iFish’s BG-1 heads. They are beautiful and would likely work very well with the Micro Wormz, but I have not tried that pairing yet
@@chipseiler1766 I do have several packs of the LarvaZ but have not devoted significant time to fishing them. I have seen iFish’s video about how he likes to doctor them, though and might give that a try myself. Thanks for the comment and suggestion!!
I like my plastic to be 3inch or smaller the YUM 3" Dinger and the Z-Men TRD Junebug because the water is always dirty water never able to see 4 inch in the water. Rio grande valley N.M. nice video
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I do use a lot of those Berkley powerbait 3 inch trout floating worms, they work pretty good for them. I think these would work great for trout, crappies and perch as well. I am so mind blown by these micro worm z baits. How to get me a few packs on them. most likely I will get two packs of each colors here.
If you can’t find a local spot there are some good online options. Discount Tackle tends to run a 20 or 25% off sale on z-man every month or so and they carry a wide selection of the z-man micro series so that might be a place to look.
