  • #harharmahadev #lordshiva #himalayas #mountkailash #mystery let's talk about Rakshastal. This lake has a name that means "lake of the demon" because a character from ancient history, Ravana, once bathed here. People in Tibet call it 'the dark lake of poison' and also 'the Ghost Lake.' This lake is not considered holy like Manasarovar. It has salty water and no fish or plants live in it. There are four islands in this lake.
    According to history, Ravana Deep Tapas here to please the god Shiva. He even cut off one of his ten heads as an offering every day. On the tenth day, God Shiva appeared and granted him a boon. The lake is shaped like a crescent moon and is not round like most lakes. People don't walk around this lake because it's considered unfortunate.
    Both lakes are close to each other and near the Holy mountain, Mount Kailash. The weather here is very harsh, with cold temperatures and strong winds. Still, Manasarovar has many types of birds, while Rakshastal does not because of its salty water.
    Every year, many people visit both lakes, but more go to Manasarovar because it's considered holy. These lakes are not just interesting places on a map; they are important for culture, religion, and nature. #hinduism #jaibholenaath

    The astonishing point here is that manasarovar and rakshastal are both side by side yet the water in Manasarovar doesn't get contaminated with salt water. This is itself a proof that God is always present and what we call as science is just a small portion of what God actually is.

    There is no better devotee of Shiv than Ravan, there is no other scholar better than or equal to Ravan, Music, Vedas, Ayurveda you name it, he is shining example, but he was a kaaran Janm, he had to come as Raavan to get back to be the body gaurd of Vishnu sooner. Condemn his actions NOT him.. he is a great man, Lord Ram touched his feet and took his blessings before his death.

      i also used to think of it logically like you did.
      But dont you think that these history passed on through 1000s of years only because it was changed or formed in a way to attract people's interest for learning about it... I mean one can gain interest about his ten heads and read about it and eventually will learn about the emotions and how having control over 10 emotions, he gained ego and considered himself equal to Gods, only to find that he failed to learn humility😊

    Well it seems like the remnant of the sea water tht got trapped when the Himalayan mountain ranges rose up to its current position when the Indian subcontinent drifted and fused with the Eurasian plate a couple of million years ago pushing up the once sea bed- the Himalayan mountain ranges into what we know of now

    • @devendeven2023
      @devendeven2023 11 месяцев назад +2

      Then, how do you explain the highest fresh water lake in the same mountain region ?

    • @jameswolfric-ll4lk
      @jameswolfric-ll4lk 11 месяцев назад +3

      Let's get this straight fresh water is from underground water reserves which is present all over the planet, u asking this question is like u asking how do i get water at a specific place deep enough u hit a point in tht reserve or u get a aquifer which causes s jet of water to rise from the water table deep from the earth to the surface making lakes or ponds tht operate solely from the ground water reserves and also get replenished from the monsoon rain

    • @devendeven2023
      @devendeven2023 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@jameswolfric-ll4lk There are obviously many other factors that could possibly explain this phenomenon. No one disputes that there may be geological and scientific reasons for this , but the highest fresh water and salt water lakes in the Mountain plain of the Axis Mundi obviously deserves a deeper interrogation and interpretation.
      If I told you that even the geographical reasoning that you mention is all but part of creation ( Holy trinity of creation, preservation, destruction) , you'd refute this as well

    • @jameswolfric-ll4lk
      @jameswolfric-ll4lk 11 месяцев назад

      There needs tone research onhow this beautiful ball of dust made such a beautiful mountain and those wonderful lakes up those extraordinary heights, obviously
      we need to learn and understand how this earth has formed and forming so much of this extraordinary things by its own via the nature's guide how the tectonic plates and fault lines work and not be biased by one belief or faith tht cud just make all this a mere mythological miracle but rather a toil of years of the earth, the mythological scriptures don't justify the beauty of this beautiful nature it just addes its own perspective and idea of how it might hv or may hv happened not the actual process of this marvellous creation of "nature" (by nature i mean the natural forces not any trinity or duo but the culmination of the greatest forces of planetary power and evolution 😂)

    • @devendeven2023
      @devendeven2023 11 месяцев назад

      @@jameswolfric-ll4lk In one breathe you talk about nature , creation and evolution, and in another instance you ridicule the Hindu scriptures. You should enlighten yourself , step out of the darkness of ignorance, then you'd learn that the Hindu faith is very much aligned to the belief that nature and evolution is part of what constitutes the universe and cosmos.
      The Ramayan is an epic poem based on the fight for light over darkness. In the story telling which takes place thousands of years ago, the varanas a species of monkeys bears resemblance to early mankind , what could possibly be a "Homo Sapian " species now evolved into human species.
      The chant Aum Namah Shivaya harmonizes the 5 elements ( earth, wind, fire, water , space ) . There are many God's like the sun God, the Goddess of the earth , the Goddess of the river Ganga that we worship.
      What I am alluding to , is the fact that our scriptures which predates thousands of years ago harmonizes all these elements you talk about as being an integral part of the universe and cosmic order, and they hold a spiritual value to us because they are important and significant to our survival and existence.
