- Since the Ledin video was surprisingly popular, here is one on Bozel!
2 things I forgot to mention:
- Enchants should all give +MDEF, preferably +MDEF%, and ideally +MDEF & +MDEF%!
- Best enchant for PvP is Magic (+15% AOE damage). Best enchant for PvE is clocks (more chances to use his attack skills, especially dark reaper).

For bozel's weapon, I've heard that those Sr staffs that increase aoe or single target percentage is for bozel. That will be much better than the 20 bluemoon since you can get more hp as well as skill damage increase.
Agreed, but there are several factors to consider:
1. If you got one of them (the +AoE damage staff is shockingly rare. The single target staff is much easier to get).
2. If you don't have 1 that is upgraded, are you willing to use a lot of runes to upgrade one?
3. Do you have the gold to upgrade an SR staff to lv40 or50 (because a lv20 SSR is a bit better than a lv30 SR)?
To me, the limitation was the 2nd, and I didn't want to waste stamina (or guild shop points) on a weapon that I will temporarily use.
Especially since I was able to beat Ice Dragon 65 with the lv20 Blue Moon!
@@NitroglycerineIf resource is very tight, then I agree bozel's weapon isn't super high priority due to his high int, but it could provide good value than one realizes. For players who don't have Lana (and other powerful mages or archers), it might be trickier to beat high level ice dragon so using the common secret arts staff for a 9% to 12% increase in fireball and dark scythe damage can make a difference.
I got Sonya up and actually runed her so she has her ninja skill. It is crazy because depending on the map she really shines as no terrain that is passable effects her. Combine her with another flyer and you have a fast moving hard hitting force.
Dark Crown SSR also gives MDEF plus HP and it has MDEF and HP as Native Talents as well. At 6* it will be the same MDEF increase as Ghost mask, but you gain more HP as added bonus
Yep agreed. Mentioned in the video about Dark mask being great. I personally haven't transitioned to it because:
- Bozel can already clear lvl65 ice dragon with the ghost mask.
- I don't have 3 epic martial spirits to put into upgrading a Dark Crown.

@@C2XNightmare I'm trying to gear up Bernhardt with SSRs 1st, for fighting Thunder Dragon.
For Dark Crown, Listell (not yet released), is a demon character who also replaces her INT with 1.5x MDEF. She's also great with Dark Crown after Bozel switches away from it.
It's actually recommended to (eventually) have 1 copy of every SSR if possible. This is because the devs actually adjust the stats on the SSR items for balancing purposes. So you never know when a useless SSR might become useful!
Mind you, the priority right now is to get 5-6 full sets of lv50 SSRs :)

For characters that you like using and are part of your main team do you recommend mastering all classes even the ones you won’t be using or taking skills from just for the stat boosts? Are they helpful or significant at all or the mastery boosts don’t add much overall?
Example I have Leon’s left and middle trees done, should I get his singular right one also? Great guides by the way; I really enjoy your channel and your content. Your voice is really soothing also by the way.
Who would you recommend prioritizing for starring up in what order between Leon, Lana, Bozel, Cherie, Ledin, Vargas, Liana and Tiaris? I’m empire faction centric but I’m wondering whose skills benefit the team most for example my friend had me get Liana to 4 and it’s been helping me a lot with dragons. Keep doing your thing, thanks for all the helpful videos.

Leon's Swordman Class: The mastery bonus is 80hp, +5 skill. It's quite low. In addition, you don't really need the "Crush" Passive it provides.
Eventually, when you actually have spare runestones, sure, you can grab this class. But in the meantime, there are so many characters that need double classes that you probably won't be able to get this one for a long time.
So there is no real clear answer. It really depends on whether you find that skill it provides useful or not. :)
Starring Up: 4* = 50 shards, 5* = 100, 6* = 150. At 4 shards/day, it's not easy to 5* or 6*.
The result is that I generally recommend getting all of your main party to 4*. After that, you need to decide. I am personally focused on Leon (melee DPS) + Lana (magic DPS) right now to 5*. Damage is king for most of the content, especially things like dragons.
Thanks Nitro. I know about the mastery bonuses I phrased it wrongly I guess. I meant to ask what’re your thoughts on the small stat boosts from upgrading a class in general by filling each little node overall in boosting a character’s stats since I noticed in this game pretty much every little bit of added number helps.

1. They only apply if you're in that class.
2. They have a HUGE impact, especially for "3rd tier" classes. Here is the stat change when I went from "Mastered" King to "Basic" Templar.

I notice that pretty much every other person in the top 100 on server, is rocking with Lana and bozel, even if they don't have altemeuler /Bern, still seems he is really high on people's list, I run a legion team, but just picked up Lana, I went down death lord path, need to rune twice to get his fac buff, I was sleeping on this character, I think he's worth it, hope he functions well for me in pvp, dragon, and for some big maps requiring 6 or more characters, but I can't picture in my head, why I would ever need both of them besides that on pve maps. If you didn't have him, would you have used Lana as much, who would you say is the better stand alone character by themselves, thrown on a legion team.

I can't even recall what I talked about in this video anymore LOL. But usually, you mix it up.
Sometimes EQ, black hole, seal.
Sometimes Summon, sleep, fireball
Sometimes FB, EQ, seal.
It all depends on the characters you bring and the enemies you're facing. There are even maps where decay is the best AoE to bring to prevent the enemy from getting buffed.

He can use a Swordsmith Medal, but I doubt you have that many to spare.

Late, but YES! I replaced Hein with him and he immediately hit harder even without faction buff. He’s also amazing for Aniki Bros. Debuff, put to sleep and remove buff, prevent buff... I often literally couldn’t do them without him.

Hi Nitro, I have a question, I just notice recently most top rank players chose death lord class insisted of dark Prince why?
if you're talking power, demon classes have higher stats, which means higher power.
However, if you're talking about PvP, demon classes do almost no damage to holy class, so it's not worth it.
I want to run a Dark Cycle/Strategy/Empire team like the example you gave in the video, my only problem is that if I use Dark Cycle fb into Chivalry into another fb for Leon, my Vargas doesn't get the initial faction buff (not part of dark cycle). Are there any ways I can get around this?
Unfortunately, that is the limitation on using Vargas. It Tanks without faction buffs can be problematic. In fact, I think Vargas may be the only tank that lacks it: Grenier, Freya, Ledin, Altemuller, and even Bernhardt all have the faction buff.
The flip side is Vargas may do less damage (and take a bit more) for 1 or 2 turns, which isn't a game breaker.

I have baldr's white robe, but it says it gives mdamage instead of mdef (from the wiki), is that a typo possibly? And if so, is it still the best for bozel end game
It's absolutely a translation error.
If it really was mdamage, it would be so overpowered everyone would equip it for all mages :D

At level 17 I got bozel as the first SSR lol
Well he is a free SSR from the event Ever Dark Contract ^_^. Cherie, him, and Gerold & Layla are the 3 free SSRs everyone gets. Getting a copy of him isn't a bad thing though, since you do want to raise him to 6* if possible.
Is tree of life good on Bozel? does his damage increase in battle from Int buffs, or MDEF buffs?
Clocks is still considered his best enchant because he is usually tossing out Earthquakes and Black holes, and those have 5 turn CDs.

Hey nitro, I use Devout Crown for my Bozel, is that better, the same or worse than ghost mask?
That's the one that gives MDEF when your unit HP is above 80%, correct?
It would say it has very similar performance, arguably better in PvE (where you can keep Bozel at full HP), and worse in PvP (where AOE will knock you below 80%).
I guess the question is: how often do you end up injured and using dark scythe to heal back up? If that happens a lot, you want ghost mask. If that never happens, then Devout Crown is good.
If you already have a leveled up Devout Crown, I wouldn't recommend changing at this point. You'll probably transition to the SSR Dark Crown soon enough anyways!

Does anyone know if the 1.5 mdef as replacing int is the base Mdef or the Mdef with equipment and percentile buffs

So you want +% enchants on all of Bozel's equipment.
I get bozel recently.. Is it good to use 2+2 for bonus mdef for bozel? I only use him for pve.. Atleast for now
It confuse me because i got 14% mdef on dark crown with clock enchant.. And 10% mdef on speed boots with ice enchant.. :/

Clocks is superior, even for PvE.
When that 30% chance kicks in and allows you to keep tossing out skills, it's far superior.

Would you use Bozel without Faction buff in pve or Bozel as only one receiving stats for faction buff?
I've use him a bunch of times as "support" with sleep (or dark reaper) + necromancer summons.
So yes. But for a fight like... ice dragon, he needs the faction buff to increase his MDEF and INT.

It SHOULD be a map that appears with the upcoming update, when we get chapters 34-37 (and the event maps that go with them).
Wouldn't Odin's Helmet be better than Dark Crown
"BIS" here is probably soul stealer headdress for another silence chance. Bozel is rarely the one to kill targets for you.
In my case, I still use dark crown to this day because of the 6% HP and 14% mdef enchant I rolled on it

Mage is more general purpose for PvP.
Demon has higher MDEF, (and thus INT) but doesn't do very well vs holy class enemies.
