The only thing he's teaching his dog is how to get twice as aggressive. Why? Because he's missing every opportunity to snap the brain waves of the dogs aggressive state. He's leading the dog to just attack, be held and regain energy for the next attack which will be even more aggressive and twice as fast. He's training the dog to do the opposite ironically of trying to make the dog submit. To make a dog submit theirs's 4 stages of fight or flight. First stage is FIGHT: The dog is clearly not even past the first stage of submitting. Second stage is FLIGHT: Which the dog will never get to achieve this stage since he's being taught to fight instead of flee the situation. Third stage is the AVOIDANCE state: Which you know this dog will have a hard time doing if it keeps fighting in the 1st stage. When a dog has no fight left in em, and is fleeing the fight and wants to avoid. The most optimal way according to Cesar Millan is to catch, show that the dog has no option but submit from not fighting/fleeing/avoiding failures. Final stage is SUBMITION. The dogs are natural followers. Can't beat em join em, every dog joins the pack leader who dominate them in those 4 areas of mental states.

Sadly I have to agree. As amazingly talented this man is at being able to control such a wild beast the reality is that nobody else is likely going to be able to tame this dog in the same way. And given the sheer physical of this dog along with its temperament I have zero doubt it will end up killing somebody.

Miałam w wieku 14 lat w domu kaukaza , podobny i duży " bydlak ' do tego ... zaatakował mnie któregoś dnia kiedy weszłam szybkim krokiem do kuchni ( na stole leżał surowy kurczak , czego nie zauważyłam) Kaukaz rzucił się na mnie 🤨 ja w przypływie adrenaliny , złapałam go za gardło o zucilam na podłogę.. I siedziałam na nim tak z 2 minuty , zaznaczę że byłam wtedy szczupła 14letnia delikatna dziewczynką 😉 Od tamtej pory pies nigdy nawet nie warkną na mnie 😅
I almost hate to respond because people are so ignorant. The owner has sent the dog to training school in order to save the dogs life so they don’t have to put it down. This dog will kill any child or fragile human being. It is extremely aggressive and dangerous. And these techniques are used for big dogs for his discipline. I appreciate the owners for being very responsible and I can tell they love their dog.. I hope the training works so they can keep this beautiful beast!!!

But this is kind of contradictory to the breed profile of this dog though. It’s an Alaskan Malamute, and it shouldn’t typically be acting like this as they’re not bred to be hyper aggressive and territorial. They’re quite an independent type of dog and will have no qualms doing things you don’t ask them to do. So if they’re aggressive, they might actually bite you even if they know it’s not something you’ll approve of. The best dogs for guarding are those with controlled aggression, like German Shepherds, Malinois, Dobermans etc. Because those dogs will maul on-demand but stop like nothing happened if you tell them to. Even in the wild, wolves have controlled aggression too, the alpha wolf gives the “green light” to attack and everyone stops if it signals the pack to stop. As it stands, this Malamute is not qualified yet until it fully learns how to control its aggression (which is what the trainer was doing). But yeah, it’s a beauty and that size is too much for any intruder who’ll mess with it for sure.

Watching the dog give in and understand despite clearly not wanting to. Also that WWE move was homie's best possible chance he had right there. I just saw a dog like this today outside our neighborhood bar, girlfriend has 5 and she called him to her ....he came right to her. Beautiful dog and very friendly. She also a majestic 115lbs😅.

That is how it's done. The people complaining are the same people that give up and send the dog to be put down. He is a overly aggressive dog that is very dominant, you can't rub him and tell him everything will be ok. He bites someone and he will be on the news and get put down.
What people don't understand is at times dogs like this will test they're own owner. They know the consequences of what they are doing 110% but sometimes they get alittle balsy lol. Ask Joe Rogan. He had someone on his show that has multiple huge mastives. But if this becomes a constant habit without being corrected that dog could kill that man in his sleep. I had a pitbull that I swear had to be mixed with gray wolf, most times he was a great dog and a lot of fun, but I had to do this with him about once a month
It sounds awful but when I got my rescue (pitbull/mastiff mix) he went after my Pit and I had to slam him on his back and mount him. It's a sign that I'm the alpha and that will not happen here. He was a bait dog for fighting and I understood why he was defensive... I've had him, another rescue and my Bully for years now and they couldn't be better buds... Although I wish they could quiet down on the horse play, but ayyy rather play then fight.

The best dogs for guarding are those with controlled aggression, like German Shepherds, Malinois, Dobermans etc. Because those dogs will maul on-demand but stop like nothing happened if you tell them to. Even in the wild, wolves have controlled aggression too, the alpha wolf gives the “green light” to attack and everyone stops if it signals the pack to stop.
As it stands, this Malamute is not qualified yet until it fully learns how to control its aggression (which is what the trainer was doing). But yeah, it’s a beauty and that size is too much for any intruder who’ll mess with it for sure.

That is how it's done. The people complaining are the same people that give up and send the dog to be put down. He is a overly aggressive dog that is very dominant, you can't rub him and tell him everything will be ok. He bites someone and he will be on the news and get put down.
It helps to bite and pull the dogs ear while holding it down to show more domination.
What people don't understand is at times dogs like this will test they're own owner. They know the consequences of what they are doing 110% but sometimes they get alittle balsy lol. Ask Joe Rogan. He had someone on his show that has multiple huge mastives. But if this becomes a constant habit without being corrected that dog could kill that man in his sleep. It sounds awful but when I got my rescue (pitbull/mastiff mix) he went after my Pit and I had to slam him on his back and mount him. It's a sign that I'm the alpha and that will not happen here. He was a bait dog for fighting and I understood why he was defensive... I've had him, another rescue and my Bully for years now and they couldn't be better buds... Although I wish they could quiet down on the horse play, but ayyy rather play then fight.
