Love this game. Getting the pc version and adding a few cosmetic mods gave it a new lease of life for me. Playing any other football game just leaves me massively unsatisfied. Just passing the ball side to side across the pitch gives me joy.
So beautiful. I use man marking for all my players and it organizes the defence 1000%. There is barely break aways because I pair it up with either gegenpress or deep defensive. You will need fast Cb and for once defending is so fun. Hope it helps

Good trick i want to try this out. My current tactics if i play gegenpress. I will set all my midfielders and centre back play styles to "the destroyer" for the advanced strategy I'll use "false fullback" ,"deep defensive line", and of course the "gegenpress" At some point instead of using 4-3-3 for lineup. I use 3-5-2 lineup for more agresive tackle..
This is nice. In the alternative, you can set a 5 men on defence formation with an attacker on the back line, then choose that attacker to join the attack, then increase your attacking awareness to the fullest. It works too

Thanks for reminding me that trick, mate. It actually makes the whole formation to advance, not only the attacking and the meso-attacking line. However, it's important to have a DMF, so as to be able to cover your back, especially when the Fullbacks advance- and I would add not to use on him the Anchorman advanced strategy, or else you restrict him in staying in the middle and you won't be able to cover your sides in case of a counter. I had accidentally discovered it long ago but I haven't used it, as I don't play with Gegenpress, because it draws out my players in a rapid degree. It's actually how Guardiola, Klopp and Tuchel play Gegenpress, but keeping their players on position. I wonder if in the settings we have the "Maintain Position" option or the "Fluid Formation" options and if this adds in keeping the players on their position. Looking forward for how you interpret the Eric Ten Hag tactics... Have a nice time.
another thing u can do is just going one red bar up and then manually marking their defense and cdms with ur attacking players ( U can even use this without applying gegenpressing tactic as some smart switching and second player pressing will do the job for u ).. Love ur content spoony ❤️

In games i find the Gegen-Press easy to get past all it takes is a through ball or once your through the press Liverpool is exposed at the back and i have 3 attackers against the goalkeeper...It's a very high risk reward system.

I play PES 2018 with FC Barcelona and I can’t quite find the right formation cause my players don’t pressure and I unfortunately got the game after life update was discontinued so I can’t upgrade game and add player like Griezmen and Dembele. On the plus side I do keep Neymar 😊

Spoony bro I am playing pes21 on ps4 with standard monitor. When I am playing in distant camera, the player kit and ball details appear pixelated and ragged slightly. How much of a difference will playing on ps5 with a 4k monitor make?
Gegenpress absolutely annihilates your players stamina though in Master League mode, I would use it sparingly for specific periods of, or specific games only, or leave on ice until you have a squad that's big enough to rotate. Otherwise you're going to be seeing players with nothing but red form arrows to choose from at the business end of the season. Red form arrows suck, as your players are basically nerfed by nearly 15% on average against all their stats, which is not exactly welcome seeing that the CPU nerfs your players stats in game anyway, while boosting theirs dynamically at will.
@@SpoonyPizzas i play with team pressing tactic only when i Behind one or two Goals. Think Team pressing is good for starting a comeback, because when ur team have luck
I find the all out attack a bit too risky. Opens you up to counters where the opposition strikers suddenly look like Torres when he went past Vidic. Then they sit back and defend the whole game. And catch you on another long ball counter.
The computer just creates whatever scenario it needs to to make sure your tactics don't work, there's no point fighting with it. You can just tell when it's happening too, as you can feel the forcefield dragging everything you do backwards and the TAS reading your passing inputs and player movements the moment you've pressed the buttons to intercept. I've stored some very laughable CPU glitching clips that I may upload one day.
Apart from pes22 Pes 2021 is still the worst football video game ever in my opinion Yesterday I slammed the joystick to the ground braking it into pieces because of the same stupid referee A very clear penalty that even my opponent believe it is a penalty and a red card after his defence tackled ronaldo while he is trying to score in an empty goal within the 86th minute of the match And the referee just ignored 🙁

i think you can use in attacking options, "Maintain Formation" then when you lose the ball the players will be on their positions

Huge and with HDR even bigger again. Especially if it's standard PS4 and not a Pro. Otherwise theres no difference between PS4 Pro and PS5
