One way to understand the conditions is to put them in terms of whether they are necessary or sufficient conditions. Eg wudu, facing qibla are necessary but not sufficient for the Salah.
These are questions I have while watching this: (quite a few) 1. Isn't there a fiqh rule that doubt doesn't remove certainty? How is it related to what is said around @1:08:35 .. What about waswas? -- answered later. No "just in case" behaviour for people waswas. Don't even check. Also, doubts after doing acts of worship should always be ignored 2. If there is water more than qullatain that comes into contact with something najis and STC doesn't change is it Tahir or tahur? Around @1:35:45 3. Re: wudu and layer on skin. The response to the moisturizer cream on the face before wudu wasn't clear, I'm guessing that yes its allowed. What about oil? What about sunscreen, especially "water-resistant" ones. The water still mixes with it and you feel the water touching the skin. Also, what if there is only light makeup on the face that mostly washes off (eg lipbalm, blush, light concealer etc), can wudu be made? Sometimes a stain remains or some remains but not a thick layer.. most is removed.. and what about tiny glitter particles stuck?). What about ink on the hand that stains? --a point was made later that the flowing water when making wudu should remove the thing so that kind of helps answer the makeup question 4. If someone has najasa on clothes or their body can they make wudu first? The point re. Istinja needs to be done before wudu confused me. 5. Can we wipe over ponytail or a bun where u can't smoothly wipe? or hair clips? (I heard that yes.) 6. what are the wudu nullifiers specific to women? There are different things I've heard about those.

What is the difference between the 4 schools of thought? If we are supposed to be following the Quran and the sunnah of the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, how do we know which school of thought to follow? I’m in the early stages of my journey to gaining a better understanding of my deen so pardon my question if I am asking it in the wrong way.
The difference between the 4 schools is honestly very little. The best way to see the 4 madhabs, is the same as we may see public, private, home, and charter schooling. There somewhat different from each other but they are all individually valid ways to get an education. Same with the madhabs. There are countless scholars who come together to find and determine the correct ruling on matters. All 4, hanafi, maliki, shafii, and hanbali madhab are respected and whichever one you choose. You will be safe. You Need to just make sure you follow a teacher who will lyk when the madhab makes an error. If the school says that something is haram. But the evidences show that it is halal. Your teacher must be the kind to lyk that thr madhab was wrong on this issue. In order to avoid extremism in following a school of though. As for right now in your journey as a beginner, u don't have to choose a madhab. This comes later on. Just try to focus on the basics of the religion and take your time building yourself. May Allah increase us in beneficial knowledge

Ustadh, this content does make it very tempting to follow the hanbali madhab, let alone if you would continue explaining mutoon and hanbali books!

Worship of Allah is the most important. The Sahaba or salaf never stopped worshiping Allah even if they were being slaughtered or in battlefield.
