Their choice and one that I have not problem with. However, the fact they can influence our democratic system is a bit of a concern. Do they pay anything in say tax toward the UK? If so then fine but if not then they should not be allowed to vote. What was the old clarion cry: No taxation without representation! The opposite obviously.
We turned our backs on the UK because it is a shit hole, and no one appears to want to do anything about improving it.
They left uk no vote if come bak vote no problem..am I'm goin mad.
I bet most of those expats don’t even speak spanish
I speak Australian mate.
How shameless are you? You destroyed thousands of innocent Palestinians.Allah will pay for it one day!!! do not pray to Allah for. May Allah not forgive the sins of the oppressors 😢😢😢

Brits have the right to vote wherever they live, Pakistanis, turks have that right also
I am a Pakistani citizen, and I admit that Pakistan is not a safe country.
Oh surprise surprise. The rule is scrapped when the Tories need the gammons abroad vote 😂
Learn from recent EU elections, let's make a christian british nation
When king the killer of his wife is going to be brought to trial?
*British immigrants.
expats ? migrants who are looking for a better life, no expats, stop saying rubbish.
😂
Immigrants* there's no need to change the word to expat
Hello I tried to register to vote in UK election but as I was unable to prove my residence in the UK this is not possible. I an British with British passport but that means nothing.
Shame on them
This is really messed up. Why the hell has this law change happened? Surely it’s right that you should lose your right to vote in the UK after 15 years. If anything it should be less, so why the hell have these people being given the right to vote again on UK fares when they don’t have to necessarily live with the consequences.😨😰 Thank goodness though this law means they can only vote on the decisions made in the last constituency they were in, rather than necessarily on a national level.
BBC is fully multicultured. Sample of future britain .
They're immigrants. Immigrants.
British immigrants*
Emigrants
Shouldn't be allowed to vote .
They should speak Spanish
Yeah! That's pretty good, to be able to participate in a grand scale dishonesty flog and not be on the recieving end.

I've only been in Spain 10 years but I will be voting green. I would much prefer the right to be able to vote here in Spain, we were allowed to vote only in the local elections.
You don't Kay tax to the UK you shouldn't get any say at all but you should in Spain
I wonder if they learned Spanish even after all these years
Probably can barely order a beer
Nobody go vote. We need a new party called REFUSE TO VOTE PARTY.
Labour party ❤❤❤
British migrants
So, those with EU leanings, acting in self interest, have been given the right to vote. Foreign nationals given the right to vote in UK elections. You left, not your business anymore.
Why are you addressing your rant to them? They neither changed nor asked for the law to be changed.
They're not foreign unless they switched their citizenship. Do you think all immigrants should have the right to vote in the UK? At the moment they can't vote in government elections (only local council elections). This is the way it works in most countries.
@@adrianthoroughgood1191Only British citizens living in the U.K. and the Channel Islands should be allowed to vote in the general election.
@@alia7960 so would you let immigrants vote in UK elections? Everybody has to vote somewhere.
@@adrianthoroughgood1191 Obviously not. They have no entitlement to vote here if they are not a citizen, and if their own country doesn’t allow it, too bad. It’s not our problem.
If a compromise must be made, immigrants should only be allowed to vote after becoming a permanent residence and a suitable length of time living here, say 15 years, obviously paying the appropriate taxes.
