The elves are sooo cute, but I wish you would have explained! Was it foam you used to wrap around the styrofoam? Where did you get your supplies? So many questions that I think talking through might have explained!

I would just use old pantyhose over the styrofoam ball and tie it at the top so its under his hat if you cant find the foam. Then you can get lots of skin colors.

Where do you get the foam that you heat up to mold around the foam ball? I've looked and can't find anything like it online or anywhere. Is this regular craft foam in skin tone color? From what I read on Amazon, the craft foam is not something you should use heat on. The other option is clay or felt. It' s a year old craft I hope someone can help with my question.
Terri Manabe well they recommend that you don't heat them because if you heat them too much they burn.
Have you ever tried heating the foam to make this or any similar project? I'm sure if you use low heat it would be okay as long as you can wrap the foam around the ball fast enough.
in the description box it has list of supplies and it just says foam sheets, i'm sure if you use a low setting on your iron to warm it up it will be fine. maybe just use an iron you don't use on your regular fabrics incase you get foam stuck to it.
