A friend commented that the closest Republic ever came to a “Super Group” film was the 1950 Roy Rogers western “Trail of Robin Hood” where Roy calls on Rocky Lane (King of the Mounties, Tiger Woman etc), Crash Corrigan (Undersea Kingdom, Painted Stallion), Tom Tyler (Captain Marvel), Tom Keene/Richard Powers (Desperados of the West) and cowboy stars Monte Hale, Kermit Maynard and vet William Farnum (Red Ryder’s serial Dad) to help Jack Holt (a serial star for Columbia) battle Christmas Tree Rustlers! A fun film and each guest star has a nice scene and team up sequence.
Good ole VHS, and BETA-Max tape days. Wish I could get my tape player repaired, so I can watch my collection again, instead of having to replace them with DVD versions. 👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The only disappointment in this great film was that Roy Barcroft was supposed to be in George Chesboro's place. Rogers begged Robert Yates to let him play a good guy, but Yates said no. Guess he forgot that Barcroft played a reformed bad guy in the Sunset Carson pic The Cherokee Kid. Would have loved to see old Bearclaw on the right side for a change!

Thank you for a great movie! Amazing all the western actors on this one. Thank you Mr. O'Brien for all the information on them.
Really enjoyed watching this. Thank you 🤠
Happy 70th anniversary of trail of robin hood

Filme lindo otimo filme obrigado
You can tell how much bullet truly loves Roy.
55:08, George Cheesbro wasn't always a Meanie,
He played the Good Doc Drummond in the 2nd and third episodes of "The Lone Ranger "
Roy was in 2 films like this with a cast of other Republic stars. The other 1 involved a circus & Don Barry & Bill Elliott that I remember.
The Bells of Rosarita 1945
16:17 Oh look, Penny Edwards is Riding Dale's horse Buttermilk.
She should be wearing Roy's fancier cowboy outfit to ride on Dale's horse.
Otimo filme ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Unwritten law of the West, In Fair fighting, only Sidekicks are allowed to Bite.
Roys daughter Cheryl is the little girl after an autograph at about 12.24
Penny Edwards was a knockout
Great cowgirl cross-dresser; looks great wearing cowboy duds !
