Excited to listen. Man I didn’t get diagnosed until I was an adult. Constantly yelled at by my parents for the reports my teachers would give at conferences. You would think my teachers constantly saying “he is very smart but doesn’t pay attention and tends to talk too much or get off track” would be a sign haha
Recent studies challenge the idea that high self-esteem directly correlates with performance or success, and with emotional well-being the findings are mixed at best, not as strong as people tend to believe. .
Based on Jungian theory derivatives, I don't believe in the ADHD label. I think it simply refers to certain personality types, possibly struggling due to a lack of acceptance in their environment. Labeling it negatively and using medication to change someone's personality is a potential moral disaster. Coincidentally, the people labeling these individuals are often self-proclaimed 'mind-temple philosophers,' common middle managers of our world-so important and deserving, and, of course, knowing better. Oddly, so-called ADHD people are often their most likely sexual partners.
I think you should have Richard bandler on the show who was the original Creator / founder of neurolinguistics programming and could likely provide Insight that is orders of magnitude greater than this conversation
