now that i am older, i appreciate these more. these cinematics sometimes are better than actual full blown hollywood movies. ive never seen the first ultimate alliance. seen the second and third.
This is X-men Legends 2. The two legends games preceded the Marvel Ultimate Alliance series. They were quite good and allowed for a fair bit of character customization, something that M:UA titles simplified too much by the third.
Ultimate Alliance 1 had the best you might want to check it out.
Now this game deserves to be remastered. Countless hours were spent playing this game.
Will need A LOT of rebalancing and some character overhauls for a simple "remaster".

Interesting Fact: The X-Men Legends Video Games is based on Ultimate X-Men in the Ultimate Universe.
Is not entirely based story wise
At least not Legends 1
But mostly the X-men where using the Ultimate outfits cos the games came out around the same time period where comics where still running ultimate timeline

Not exactly, they mixed some things that where good about the Ultimate Universe (The outfits, Nick fury, etc) and mixed it with 616 lore.
i love the ultimate look for Cyclops, Colossus, wolvie and even Rogue
They just looked badass despite all the problems with X Ultimate
They also looked Great in the Legends series as consequence
Back when developers spent the entire budget on cutscenes!

Juggernaut is unstoppable in this game.
I loved how he kept growing the more you hit people. He'd end up taking up most of the screen in a big fight.
Is curious how the X-men have kicked juggs cunty 'unstoppable' butt so many countless times..

This game had some serious balancing issues once you clear it 2 or 3 times and break level 70.
Dont see why the name of WOLVIE got to be Capt bigger than MAGNETO..?
but whatever.. This is one of the greatest cut scene intros of all history of gaming and of the greatest X-men game period
Is ok to hate on many of the things that the Ultimate timeline did..
But at least Cyclops, Colossus, Rogue, Wolvie lookes very badass in their dark tactical outfits

Love this series. I still pick up my PSP and fire up this game. With so many sequels to various titles, they should have made more of these. Same universe, new characters, new stages, upgrade the visuals and BAM, take my money!
