    I'm waiting for my korvapuusti dough to rise so I thought what's better than to look at more korvapuusti videos and maybe help out the internationals:
    0:10 The recipe for Korvapuustit and small buns
    Dough(left side) 5dl of milk or water,
    50g yeast,
    1 egg,
    1½ dl sugar,
    1 teaspoon salt,
    1 tablespoon cardemum,
    about 1kg of white flour,
    100 - 150g of melted butter/margarin or 1 - 1½dl of runny margarin
    Stuffing for Korvapuustit (whole batch):
    100g of margarin/melted butter
    1 dl of sugar
    cinnamon
    For Smearing with brush:
    egg
    On top:
    fine sugar or granular sugar
    0:12 hey, now we are going to bake buns with Laura, we intend to make both korvapuustit and small buns
    0:20 here we have half liter of milk, but you can use water if you have milk allergy
    0:28 lets heat the liquid to hand warm, and lets add 1 package of fresh yeast (50g)
    0:36 now you could pour the liquid into a bowl, and you could also break an egg into it
    0:41 1½ desiliters of sugar
    0:45 when you have all the spices (1 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon of cardemum) in the mix, we start adding flour, basically half liter dough has 1 kg of flour, but you can feel by hand to tell when the dough is ready
    0:57 whip it until it has the consistency of the stuff you feed to toddlers (in finland we call this Piltti)
    1:01 (it says on the screen to incorporate the remaining flour by hand into the dough)
    1:02 now that we are coming to the end, we will add a little bit of fat into the dough to improve the consistency, about 1 to 1½ desiliters
    1:11 I have this little trick how you can try out if the dough is ready, dip your knuckles into a little bit of flour and then a little bit on top of the dough, if the knucles stay clean of dough its ready
    1:23 lets put it somewhere warm and still place to let it rise for about 30min
    1:29 well it looks like it has already risen quite well
    1:32 lets take about half of the dough to make the small buns
    1:36 first you should knead the dough, then you should form it into a rod/stick
    1:43 (it says on the screen split the dough into about 1 desiliter sized pieces)
    1:45 you can put a little bit of flour on the table, and then start forming the buns under your hand against the table
    1:53 when the buns are ready, you just put them on some parchment paper (on the screen it says to let the buns rise 10-20min before smearing)
    1:59 lets continue with korvapuustit!
    2:01 you can just directly roll out the dough with rolling pin
    2:05 the thinner the dough, the more layers and stuffing it will have
    2:12 now we will put some margarin on the dough and spread it all over the dough (on screen it says that if you use butter, melt it in microwave and spread it with brush)
    2:20 lets continue with cinnamon and then sugar
    2:23 start rolling it from here towards the end and leave the seam on the underside
    2:30 cut pieces from it in inclinated/skewed way, like so
    2:39 now with the triangles we have to do it like this, lets lift the tip of the triangle up and with two fingers push down to pop out "the rolls"
    2:50 then we will leave them again on top of the stove to rise
    2:52 lets smear the buns so they will have beautiful colour
    2:59 (bake 225 degrees for 10-12 minutes) now lets wait for some buns straight from the oven
    Lets hope mine will be as good as in the video
