I think this is my favorite Tunisian stitch, One time I made a pouch with some golden honey yellow yarn with this and it looked like honeycomb. it was so beautiful. it was one of the best things I've ever made.

I have never seen this before. Wow! True crocheted. How many loops do you put on the needle? This almost looks like a knitting stitch. GOOD JOB
There is a "honeycomb" tunisian crochet stitch! Looks very similar to the smock stitch, except they are little hexagons! It made by alternating knit and purl tunisian crochet stitches, then on the next row you do the opposite of what you see on the previous row. Very simple and yes, looks exactly like honeycomb!

Tunisian crochet is basically knitting and crochet's child, and imo it's easier than both

As a child and early teenager, I was sure that I had invented this method. I never came across this on the Internet or books, and none of the adults I knew were familiar with Tunisian crochet, so I approached them with knitting and said “look what I came up with,” and they always said it was good and that they had never seen anything like it before. and only a few years later one relative from another city said that I was not the discoverer of this... 😢
I had several different ways to "crochet like knitting" and I made a lot of Tunisian crochet products without knowing what it was called or that there were special hooks for it.

It doesn't matter that you didn't discover it. But it's absolutely incredible you that you taught yourself. That's exceptionally smart and you should be VERY proud of yourself. I hope you figured out a way to make money from your talent with yarn because clearly you are every skilled and talented. 🙏❤️🙏

The way I see it, just because someone else discovered it before you, doesn‘t make it mean anything less. You weren‘t the first to discover it, but you did discover it on your own nonetheless. No one can take that away from you. You found something beautiful, and I think that is something to be extremely proud of ♥️

This caught my eye even though I don’t do anything with yarn because it looks like the dragon scale bracelet you can make using rubber bands and a loom. I love that you can accomplish something close to it with yarn!
can this be translated to rainbow loom?! I can't crochet, unfortunately, but I have a rainbow loom I can use with yarn if this pattern would work !
