This is my favorite Cypriot entry ever. I still play this song and love it as much as I did the first time I listened to it. Andromache has a beautiful and mesmerizing voice. At that time, she was very new to the music industry, so I guess being involved in such a huge competition made her really stressed. Hence the shaky voice in the semi-final. But still, she was totally robbed. She brought something fresh and ethereal to the contest.
The shell represents the shell of Aphrodite, since (based on Greek mythology) the goddess Aphrodite was born in Cyprus.
that night in the semi-final the televote put her in the final but the jury didn't. we are still mad about it!
Wrong! She was 9th by the televoting but last by the juries. With the current voting system she would make it to the final.

Hello Guys!! It is nice to watch you react to all these greek songs... Greece and Cyprus don't have many allies in Eurovision. So it is very common to take less points from the other countries than they deserve. This is why both of them support each other every year with 12 points, as they also share the same language. Anyway I suggest you to react to Michalis Hatzigiannis (Μιχάλης Χατζηγιάννης) songs, either "Το καλοκαίρι μου" (= "My summer" ) at Mad Awards 2010 or "Αν δεν κοιτάζω εσένα" (="If I don't look at you"). He is one of the most successful male singers in Greece the last two decades. 😊😊

Cyprus had 0 allies in its semi final and still managed to get 9th in televoting. However the jury put her DEAD last and robbed Andromache of a place in the grand final. In general juries tend to dislike Greek ethnic songs.
CORRECT!!! Juries do not vote for ethnic songs in general. Though with the current voting system (No juries in Semifinals) Andromache would make it to the final.

This song was one of the best of that year when it came out, but on the night of the live Anromachi didn't sing well, which is a shame, because her vieo clip was truly beautiful.
