I don't believe Simon was being misleading at all when he told her she might be one of the best singers they've ever had on the show. I don't know much technically about singing but I've never seen a singer on American Idol with as many 'vocal tools' as she has. And to have such impeccable control of skill at will at 17yo is simply stunning.

I've not watched American Idol too often, but I've watched Putri's performance here on America's Got Talent over a dozen times. I'm just mesmerized by this young woman's voice, her piano playing skills, and her musicality overall. It's not only her enormous talent though, her "stage presence", her individual charisma as a person, is amazing too! She was so comfortable and relaxed, both when she was performing, and when she was chatting with the judges. The fact that this 17 year old had everyone in that audience, and the judges, including Simon Cowell who is an extremely astute judge of talent, completely enthralled and awestruck is amazing. I'm very excited to see what the future holds for this wonderful young woman. I have little doubt that she will win many Grammy awards in the future. I can't wait to see her on her first Grammy award's red carpet, and I can't help but wonder what she will wear, lol!
She already won the hearts of so many people around the world, with her heartful voice, for me I think thats way more than winning any contest, performance or any awards.... A song is just a song, but when you sang it from your heart, thats something else ❤

She is not blind. We cant see the same way that she sees the world. That means we too are blind in her terms. She sees the world differently. She does'nt need to see the colours or creatures. By the sound of sorrunding she can feel the situations better than what we can see. To write and compose such a lovely song by herself is the fragrance that she feels and transform into words. She smelled it and we hear it. She is an instrument of Devine. The devine is singing inside of her soul. When devine sings thats ultimate.

The emotional impact of Ariani's performance is profound, it has moved me to tears upon each hearing of the Golden Buzzer video. As a singer myself I know how difficult it is to do that technically, but also to connect with the listener at a soul level - very few performers can do that. Her Indonesian songs are well done (in fairness I don't understand their language) but those two songs on AGT were a bolt of lightning. She will win AGT and she could go on a world tour next week, really. Some people put down shows like AGT and there are some acts on there which are mediocre. But then they find these true gems.

Actually she's a song writer and has won Indonesia's Got Talent in 2014
She has mastered the fundamental singing technique and she has amazing vocal control (which is hard to learn except if you have great musical talent) at such young age. I personally think she could develop her techniques better and this is not even her peak form.
Putri Ariani is a rarity as a talented musician and a top-tier vocalist, so emotive, and her vocal control is so beautiful yet I sense such innocence within her. Who wouldn't be mesmerized by an amazing seventeen-year-old her voice carries the experience of a much older performer. definitely a winner.
