They spent an entire day filming this scene, the flowers wilted under the heat of the lights and had to be replaced. Emma Samms couldn't sit down because it would wrinkle the dress; she had to use a leaning board between takes.
The wedding which never took place at the last episode of season 4.... Was nice for the Colbys, but would have been so much better with Pamela Sue Martin.
@@tomjones8610 - It never made any sense for Fallon to have a similar accent as Alexis. Alexis was English born and raised in Europe. Fallon, American, raised in the US. Besides, Martin's Fallon and Samm's Fallon were two different portrayals. Martin was all tough exterior, wounded inside. Samms was mini Alexis.
@@GaelinW Jeff spotted Fallon in a photograph, taken in London by Lady Ashley. So let's just say amnesiac Fallon picked up her mother's accent quickly while galivanting around the UK as Randall Adams.
I was lucky to meet her in person a few years ago at a fan event. She's as lovely in person as on screen. She was gracious and charming, and very kind to the crowd considering it was a trying day for all the stars there because of travel delays.
I looove ”The Colbys”. And I love Pamela Sue Martin and Emma Samms: they both had fantastic chemistry with John James. Fallon and Jeff will always be my favorite couple in ”Dynasty”, ”The Colbys” and ”Dynasty: The Reunion”. So happy they ended up together in the end.
Miles raped Fallon!!! Also, he knew Fallon had amnesia when he started to get involved with her. Certainly was no victim. About the Frankie-Sable feud... Francesca was Sable's sister, even tho I think the real to blame was Jason, Frankie shouldn't had accepted this whole affair with him in the first place. Sisterhood is much more important than whatever they had in the past. They should’ve had turned to each other before they involved someone else’s feelings (Sable's). I don't think Sable and Jason should've been together because he didn't love her anymore, if he really had once. Connie meddling was just like Sable's but on the contrary direction. Sable was trying to protect Miles because she felt threatened by Jeff. But like Jason once said: What Connie does with her money is her business. Jeff wanted the woman he really loved and thought was dead. Connie wanted to bring him to help Jason who was supposed to be terminally ill. Connie brought Francesca back because Jeff needed to end his feud with his mother. Francesca got involved with her sister's husband. Jason decided he wanted to be with the woman he really loved too late. Miles was immature, childish and possessive and even tho Sable had been cheated on she was no saint, she couldn't accept that Jeff was part of that family and tried to destroy him and Connie with everything she could, she could've had killed her or Frankie in that horse accident. The real thing is: they all had problems within themselves, real problematic family. Just like the Carringtons. But we'll always love them Colbys. ❤️
@@augustofernandes9669 I never felt Jason was a strong leader, he was too easily manipulated. Connie was too meddlesome and Frankie was a passive aggressive bitch who loved playing the victim. Though the writers clearly intended Sable to be the villainess, she was really a lioness protecting her family. I felt sorry for Miles. The producers and writers on _The Colbys_ never wanted to have Miles rape Fallon but the executive producers insisted on it (they were never fans of Miles and wanted him killed off). I wish Fallon regained her personality along with her memory. Despite all of its shortcomings, I still love _The Colbys_ , its strengths outweighed its weaknesses and it was a stronger show than _Dynasty_ was at the time.
@@dannycarrington1601 I think Constance was a lioness in her own right too, both her and Sable were trying to control the family situation, but I think it was all about family problems more than the good and the bad, which was more notable on Dynasty. When Sable went there, it was obvious that her character was now to be a new Dominique/Krystle mixture. I am a believer that If there would be a 10th season, she would've had something with Blake, cause Krystle would still be in a coma.
@@dannycarrington1601 I also wanted to say that I do agree when you say that Dynasty II was stronger than its predecessor. And about producers killing Miles, they also wanted to kill Sable as Stephanie Beacham once said she was supposed to be there only for six months, but realized that, like Alexis (but still in a singular way on her own) she was the real powerhouse in that show. Charlton Heston played more weakly due to his lack of chemistry with Katharine Ross who also played without any emotions. A huge problem was Barbara Stanwyck who was supposed to be the female lead on the show had a character that was never fully developed, and she was really a favorite in there. Eventually she left that spot to Stephanie Beacham after the first season, who you may notice got the AND billing that appeared after all characters during the intro in their second year.
