Very nice, looks fantastic all put together. Getting the slop out of the chain shouldn’t be too big a deal. Run a torque converter or jackshaft and problem solved. If not, a spring loaded tensioner might do it.
Yeah 100% we have designed a jack shaft for it, but it hasn’t been made yet. But we were too excited to wait.

Oh yeah, the jack shaft will help with that 100% and we may even add a chain tensioner to the swing arm itself to make it even more secure.
Love the bike. I'm just a fat tire trail rider. But this looks great, even if it's a street cruiser. 😊
You can put fat tires on this if you want 👍 also, during the VIP presale, we will be showing a way you can make this off road ready.
Flip the clutch around to where the teeth are against the side cover, it keeps the chain from coming fully off the bike if it comes loose, it also protects for feet for when it snaps and starts smacking around a stuff.
Great advice. We would also typically have a chain guard, but we knew this was just going to be a short test ride and didn’t have one on hand to install.
All you need is a chain tensioner in a chain will stay on nice 👀 mini bike my guy 💯💯💯
For sure! We were just too excited to wait for the jack shaft being made.
It happens all the time to me on my coleman if the chain doesnt have tension the teeth on the sprocket or clutch will break it fron the chain jumpin off ...slow n steady wins the race
Very cool build. Looking forward to more updates. My only concern is the ground clearance. With the pegs on doesn't seem like it leaves much room to lean while cornering?
That is a valid concern. The MBK-1 is designed more as a cruiser but it still takes quite a bit of leaning to hit the foot peg. Perhaps we should do a video to see how much it actually takes.
I would add if your chain isn’t already above a 35 chain I would upgrade it to a 40 chain or a 428 chain
We are going to run a 40 from the clutch to the jack shaft then a 35 to the rear sprocket. For now anyways since we want to test a few different variations to see what we like best.

For sure, that makes sense. During the ViP presale we will be unveiling the final look. The one in the video is just the first one to test proof of concept. Now that we know everything does work, we can make the necessary modifications to the design to make it perfect. 👍

Certain clutches are able to be flipped. Have the teeth on the inside today’s the engine but going to need a spacer so you won’t be too close to the motor. So you won’t need a tensioner.

Thank you. Yeah, the clutch we have does do that, which we could have tried. But we are just waiting on the jack shaft to do a proper test ride. Coming soon!

Was thinking of using your frame for the Go power sports 180. Do you believe it will hold up for a off road race like that? I can beef it up, will need to be able to handle 22 HP or so... Think she will do it? That would get your name out there big time at no cost to you.
I do believe the frame is more than capable of handling the GPS 180 as it is built from 1 inch tubing. I do agree that you might need to upgrade the suspension to give you more travel as this frame is more of a street style bike.
We are going to develop an off road kit for this bike, but I’m not sure if it will be ready by this November. But it would be epic to see you race it in the event.
Id like to see this with a cvt. They .ake such a huge difference it's unbelievable
For sure, we will be getting one for the 670cx we have and will be putting in 100%.
Where did you get a power-fist'r that is not blue in colour? I am currently putting in an electric start power-fist 212.
Did you know that power fist motors don't have a piston and con-rod, they have a forearm and a fist inside instead.
Haha, we got it from Princess Auto. I think all the new ones are now black.
@@mantinimotors Mine has been sitting in a box for almost a year, got it out, put in oil and gas, it started first pull. Going to get a battery soon and I will hook up an LED light to the battery.
I'm not sure that you have purposely designed the swing arm to accept bigger tires, but that looks pretty awesome.
Right now we have a 10” rear wheel which fits perfectly. But if you decided to go rigid, you have more than enough room for a larger rear tire if you want to go that route. One day we may design a larger swing arm if there is a demand for it.
If the price for whole kit is reasonable minus the engine, I would sell my minibike and vintage scooter to buy one.😅 Looks like you'll need an automatic chain tensioner.

Chains to long , slow the video down right before it pops off you’ll see a surge shooting towards the centrifugal clutch sprocket ( like if you were to take a rope and in a quick motion jerk in up and slam it down , the little wave that happens is what I called a surge it happened to your chain) also know because I just went through the same problem 😂 , put a tensioner on for now till I can buy a welder to swap out my 105cc in my razor dirt bike to a 212cc lol 🎉 105cc I hit around 25-32 mph not bad for what it is , but I wanna be able to ride wheelies so 212 should be what I need for the torque the 105cc can barely stand the bike up you gotta low rev for about 1-2 seconds to get tension on the chain then gun it and it’ll come up but it’s impossible to keep it there just not enough torque edit - sorry for the book but another thing I noticed was your centrifugal sprocket is on the outside of the clutch ? Mine is on the inside (between clutch and engine lol ) I’ve never seen them on the outside but doubt that’s why it’s popping tbh
100%. This was just a test but we should have waited for the jack shaft to be made. This way we wouldn’t have had to run such a long chain like this.
It looks as if your chain is coming loose with the travel of the back shock when you install the chain it is under tension because the rear swing arm has full pressure on it and then when you ride it with weight on it and go over any small pump it looses tension and jumps off the sprocket.

We have designed a jack shaft but it wasn’t ready yet, so we took a chance with the long chain. Once we get the jack shaft, we can do a proper test.
I love the frames look but man if any deserve a springer front end its this.
Now that’s an idea!
@@mantinimotors a scaled down version of motorcycle springers would look amazing with the frames curves youve designed.
@@boa2143658709 perhaps that will be an option we offer in the future. We will have front suspension though, this rigid front end was just to test the bike.
You’re going to have issues with that taper bearing and premature wear without a dust seal.

Are you concerned about the angle of that shock
Not at all, it actually worked really well.
We will do an entire video on the rear shock once we get the next frame back from the shop and we will test it at every angle and stiffness. We will also try a softer shock as the current one on the bike is rated for 2,000 lbs which may be too tough. But there is room for adjustment on the shock itself as well.
It needs a single backbone design so you can put a fuel tank on it

Yeah, we could have done that for sure. Next time will give it a try, but the jack shaft will help a lot.
