I realized a LONG time ago that if you are not RICH and can't afford the seats right under the ring...its not worth paying for UFC events. I've been to a few! Its just a big waste of money. No matter what, most of the time you are just watching the big TV screen since you can't actually see much, you def. can't see the details of what's going on...of course you can't hear the commentary (which is not a big deal) but it gets sooo loud from all the obnoxious drunk people everywhere spilling beer all over the place. And just like in the video, at any point in the event (throughout the entirety of the event) you can look somewhere in the crowd and you will find a brawl...its a really weird and generally uncomfortable vibe. Also 99.9% of people in the area have never trained and are just drunk shmucks...then you realize you paid like 200-500$ a ticket, 20$ a beer, money for parking, food and you end up spending a crazy amount of money for an experience that was not fun....here is some amazing advice....take 150$ out of that 500-800$ you end up spending... go to your local bar that shows the UFC and have all the chicken wings and beer you want with your friends, watching the same big screen but with commentary and none of the headache. Trust me...
@@AdrianHernandez_88 15 yrs ago or more i was at Mosely/Margarito at then Staples Ctr & so many fights broke out that they way outnumbered security's ability to respond to them. Even being accustomed to such things ,it was amazing to behold.
To be fair it is a long way from the mean streets of West Linn Oregon... They clearly did not understand what a gangster Chael P. Sonnen is. The people in LA were not there to see Merab or Islam, but they were there because they heard Chael P. Sonnen may grace the room with his presence.
Absolutely but sometimes you gotta stand on business. Ever see Philadelphia eagles fans at their stadium? I would fight if I ever went to a game there…
You should absolutely get sent home for something like this unless you’re the one that was assaulted and you’re merely defending yourself lol. I’ve been to 8 separate events and never thought “yeah man I need to start punching someone in the crowd”. Have to grow up at some point.
Most regular people don’t have cardio to fight for more than 20-30 seconds. I remember watching two drunk people fight just outside a bar once, both got tired super quickly then just randomly, as if they were unconsciously communicating, stopped and walked in different directions without saying a word. Surreal.
This is why I don’t go to live UFC events. Drunk guys all of the sudden think they are UFC fighters. Nothing against the event itself, it’s the few in the crowd that can’t handle themselves
This is why I've only gone to one UFC event, UFC 101 in Philadelphia. It was local and I could check it off the bucket list. Watching boxing at The Blue Horizon is a better experience. No bad seats.
One of my favorite stories about this exact type of situation is Sadiq Ali on Rogans podcast... he learned what honor was by watching two Pimps fight in a parking lot as a child. Very underrated
Good thing you're from West Linn and used to seeing stuff like this everyday. I went to a party in West Linn one time and had to hop in a charter van because the HOA didn't want a bunch of cars parked in the gated community. 😅 Ruff neighborhood. I was lucky I got home in one piece that night. I'll never forget it.
Imagine getting into it at an event. Things get handled, you go home and Uncle Chael's "sharing with you" your brawl with the people 😂 That's dedicated analysis and broadcasting. Undefeated and Undisputed 🏆
Wasn’t really a kick tho if we’re talking about the guy in the white hoodie. He was leaning back on his chair and using his foot to push the guy away in a defensive kinda move not an aggressive front kick to the dome kinda move. 🤷🏻♂️
Okay Chael. In 1984 i was 34 years old. I was a carpenter for a living. I worked for a guy that was a stinking bully. Had heard about him chasing one of his employees off the job sight. Eventually he turned his rath on me. Now im a former Marine and had studied chinese Kempo for a couple years earning my brown belt. Im not a big guy and have never fought someone my size. Five foot six and 175 lbs. My boss was 6' 2" and weighed 220. We had words and he shoved me down into a pile of tools. I sprang up and punched him just under right eye. He came at me and we locked up. We were very close together and i kneed him in the nuts 3 times untill he let go. He came at me in a windmill fashion and landed a couple blows to top of my head. He backed off and started to come at me again. When i punched him in the face at beginning of fight I broke my lleft hand on his big ole block head. As he came at me he crouched down so he could launch his next assualt. As he did so i delivered my left foot just over his right eye . I was aiming for his temple but he must have turned at last second and my foot struck him in the forehead. He crumpled to his knees, fight over. So yes Chael kicks do happen in street fights
That was all jr high and some high school they called it sac you go there all day and just copy papers all day the most I did was a month the best was getting suspended from school just stay home all day and play video games till my friends got home from school
"Sir could you ask that gentleman to remove his hat while indoors ?" "Hmm well how about I turn around and you try to kick the hat off - sound fair ?" 😐
Kicks were present in virtually every street fight I’ve been in or been around…. Talk about “sheltered”. And yes, they take things to another level, called “deadly force”, at least in my state they do…
I have a buddy when we were younger he was always getting us in fights. Outside skating rink i turned and saw a guy jumping, doing round kicks, i thought, my friend, took off towards the guy jumping and no memory after that !!!
Been going to UFC events since 2016. Drunk 20 somethings always almost break into fights they are usually way to drunk. Never seen somebody get kicked out. I also don't sit in the cheap seats.
2:10 When I was at the UFC Event in Charlotte back in 2023 lol Fight broke out literally right after I took a picture with Dana White and when we looked over, we saw a dude front teep the guy down the stairs.
In school suspension Uncle Chael is what I think your thinking about or at least that is what it was at the High School I went to. They had a room not much bigger than a janitors closet and one of the gym teachers ( we had 5 male and three female gym teachers) would sit in there. Don’t ask how but just know it sucked

A fight breaking out at sporting event in L.A.??? Unbelievable!
It happens in every big sports event in Los Angeles

A sporting event where the sport is fighting
If it's not the Diaz bros then it doesn't count 🤔
Never heard of such a crazy thing if there wasnt a video id never believe it
Damn you know tickets are expensive when Chael is up in the nosebleeds
press row is up high most of the time
Lol.
Press row is usually the first in the second deck
Chael is a man of the people. Obviously the Bad Guy can sit wherever he likes.

Thank you daddy
Thank you grandfather
Thank you great grand pappy

Thanks, father.
The main event of the evening🧐😂
IT’S TIMEEE!!
What was Arman doing up in that row?
He got hit by a nate diaz water bottle
I was in that arena, security was completely impotent
Do you mean incompetent?
@@matt3935important works as well, though
Hahaha,
What a dum dum
Impotent is a word people, look it up
@Tristan2154 we know its a word.... pretty sure its out of context here. Hahahaha
I'm 50 years old and every single street fight I've seen has involved kicks, stomps, boots, etc.
I don’t know what he’s talking about
Yea and they last for like 20 seconds
Those usually happen once someone is on the ground. Not so many front kicks.
That's because you threw them, Nate Diaz. And again, you are not 50!!!
Tickets cost too damn much to get sent home over something like this
Absolutely but sometimes you gotta stand on business. Ever see Philadelphia eagles fans at their stadium? I would fight if I ever went to a game there…
No kidding. 😂 😂
Tickets oat too much to go and act like this knowing you could get tossed out.
He was likely in the ESPN booth, I highly doubt he paid for his ticket.

Another reason to avoid crowds of people especially where alcohol is involved.
Finish your tofu and get some sleep soy boy, gotta clock in early and get told what to do in the morning

After a few drinks and watching fights. People turn into UFC fighters
Not to mention stadium prices & rules. I'll watch the events from home. Eating, smoking & drinking in comfort.

Matt Hughes Vs Royce Gracie
Machida vs Shogun
Chuck Liddell Vs Keith Jardine

@@bigcatdiary08uh, some have 0 fights. LA is particularly bad hence why they aren't ignored

It continued in the parking lot
Worked at a bw3s for a few years and without fail there were customer fights every single ufc event I worked
Chael only sits that far back because he can’t let anyone get close
Where was Sean seated this time?
Most insightful comments so far.

That’s hilarious. Thankfully, no one seriously got hurt. I wonder if they were actually friends who ubered there together 😅
They were opposing merab and Umar fan simps.
This stuff is better off expressed peacefully online through text.

Thats a scuffle, a friendly dust up 😂
This reminds me of last year when sean strickland and dricus du Plessis had brawl in in the stands
I’ve been to 3 different UFC events throughout the years and everyone had at least one fight break out. It’s pretty much expected at this point
