I garden at my son's home because I live in an apartment. He allows me to do whatever I want which is great. He said he struggled with deciding on my Christmas gift. He knew I would love a gift card to a plant nursery but the plants would be coming to his yard. I told him that gift card was a win win! 🤣
I totally agree about trying things in your own gaden, not being afraid to move plants, but even more, with Rick about diervillas! I found that I that I love diervillas and viburnums. They provide so much interest through the growing season with their leaves changing colors, qnd their blooms and berries.
Never stop learning!!! Dill ✅ bucket of doom✅ great ideas for 2025! 80 degrees on Monday here in North Texas. You got me pumped to do some remaining gardening from the fall! Thank you for annnother great show and a huge thank you for all the great content in 2024!!!

It can be a drab time of year for some but at least we have lots of time to plan what we want to do in the garden next year or what plants we want to get ☺
I think it's a regional thing! It sounds different to me too (Canadian) but I've heard other youtubers prounce it that way as well. I'm sure there are things people in my area say differently. I know I've heard wigelia 😂
Can you send us a photo? That way we can be sure we're giving the best advice! You can email us at help@gardeningsimplifiedonair.com and I'll watch for it!
@pwcolorchoice we got snow so I haven't been able to take the pictures. We are expecting more snow over the weekend once it's cleared up i will email the pictures.
@@mireillewilson5911 No problem at all! I just wanted to make sure you weren't waiting on us. Whenever you're able to is great and we will help figure out what's going on ☺

Yes, absolutely! Diervilla and viburnums are wonderful - and pollinators love them too! 😄

😂😂Stacy we share the exact same gardens! Deer 😡, sand, dry and drought. Sounds like paradise😂😂
😂😂😂
I LOVE teal. It makes me happy! Beats olive green any day.
I don't miss turf but I sure miss being out in the healing garden this time of the year.

@@pwcolorchoice Do you ever do shows on veggie gardens?
I want to aim for more self sowing. Leave a plant, don’t harvest, let it go to seed and do the work for you. A friend has great parsnips this way.
It can be a really great method for a lot of edibles!
Maybe you can do a show on microgreens and sprouting for January?
That would be a great topic to cover, thank you for the feedback!
The deer and the beaver know what they are doing.
Maybe the success in your vegetable garden is do to crop rotation. The soil didn't have the diseases from year after year planting.
That could certainly be a factor!
I find interesting how Rick says the word, "Roots". How would Rick say the name of the TV series by Alex Hayley? ❤
Happy New Year and thank you very mulch for listening to the show! I tend to cultivate interesting ways to say words. Stay tuned! 😃
