I'll be honest with you. Kobe's are only going to break your Achilles. You have to look for the newest performance shoes from the Jordan brand. Hopefully Kobe Bryant makes them as well. LeBron James is making them right now. Also, those shoes will make sure your Achilles your ankle as well as your foot and toes will be safe. Kobe's are really light shoes and perform better when they're brand new
