well if there were pro players or sweaty hypixel players ( Im currently number 3 in skywars kills )they could definitely crush the event but I doubt any good players will be on the viewers team
Potato Tomato I mean, kinda. The thing is this is 1.9 pvp and 90% of hypixel pvper’s dont play 1.9 pvp and way less are good at it. Both techno and dream are very good 1.9 like they’re the Calvins, stimpys and huawhi’s of 1.9. And if you haven’t play mini games like ace race, sands of time, or rocket spleef. You’re going to struggle at least a bit in those rounds. I have no doubt that they’re going to do better than expected. But I doubt they’ll dominate and if they do I doubt they’ll come from hypixel.

I feel like Dream’s main downfall is his attitude. I love the guy, but he gets frustrated easily and it makes it difficult for him to climb back up to where he was. When Dream gets angry, he has a hard time putting any blame on himself (on camera at least) and if he doesn’t do well he gets stressed out. That kind of combination can really affect how he plays his games. For example he’s mainly known for parkour, if he were to do badly at parkour in the beginning, that may sour his mood and affect how well he plays in the other games. This is all just my opinion though, I don’t know him personally so some things may be wrong about him or his character. No hate towards Dream or anyone else. Good luck to all those playing MCC.
I agree, personally liking Dream and Techno, but i really do think Dream's attitude will cost him the dub.
I feel like he just gets really frustrated at himself for not doing up to his standards, I'm quite similar in that I'm very competitive, and if he's like me then it's not something I try to do, I can try to go into something like "just relax, it's for fun at the end of the day" but that doesn't work, I'm still going to be frustrated if I don't do as well as I'd like to and even if I try to forget it, it will impact me for the rest of whatever competitive thing I'm doing. I think I cool off faster than he does but I understand his behavior at least somewhat.
Edit: btw I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm just hoping to provide some insight into how really competitive people think for people who might not understand. I do hope I can take some things less seriously someday and just do things for fun because I don't enjoy it either, but I can't help it.

okay so i actually think techno won’t win this one because he said he wants to have fun on his last stream unless it is a case of having fun and while winning it similar to mcc 4. dream says he’s also there to have fun and he’s been practicing parkour a lot as usual so i’d say 69% chance he could actually get to finals.
and i’d place techno’s team to place around 4th or possibly, just possibly 2nd

I just watched Niki Ace a 1v3 DB round against the sweats on the DB server and the lime players are more experienced in DB overall than red so I think they beat Red if they do meet in DB.

I did originally plan on auditioning for it because I watch a lot of them & I know a few weaknesses so I could use it to my advantage but y’know - as Eret would say “It wasn’t meant to be.”

I agree as well. I still think it will be a Lime vs Red dodgebolt but I definitely see Lime winning since Techno being arguably the best dodgebolt player (at least one of) and seeing Niki doing really well practicing, compared to Dream in MCC 8 where he really whiffed quite a few of his shots until he clutched in the final shot. Especially George whiffing hard in last MCC. Just my opinion.
The thing is, idk if lime is gonna reach dodgebolt. Trust me I want techno to win. But Eret is inconsistent. So if he places above 20, and Niki places above 30, even if Techno gets number one and Phil gets number 10 their not gonna go to dodgebolt.

I think Hbomb does so well because of his personality. It's been proven time and time again where if you have someone really positive on your team, it greatly increase how well you do. I think as a Minecraft player he is good, but I think he really shines in bonding together the team he is in, which is why he has won so many events.

The thing about Dream is that he’s not really a team player I also wish he see’s comments abt his attitude during the event cuz i dont think he knows that he’s doing the things that people are saying. In my opinion i hope he sees that people are commenting how he should be gassing up his team instead of souring the mood like what he did last MCC Fundy was doing so well in the parkour and wanted dreams approval and he was mainly focused on himself. If he hypes up his team as much as he hypes up himself whatever team he’s on will absolutely pop off

In my personal opinion Cyan is a sleeper. Tubbo has top 10 personal leaderboard potential and I remember last time he won hole in the wall once. Tubbo is still new to MCC, and I think as time progresses, he will get better. I do believe if Cyan tryhards, then I would put them at 4, but most likely it’s a gonna be a meme stream
